What is a budget?
Budget: A quantitative (numerical) representation of an estimated plan, in a defined period.
Three key elements:●Number (value)●Plan period●Assumptions

Time expressed as money payable ●To a person working for a company (full year, part year)●Co-related expenses (monthly, quarterly, yearly) ●A service (monthly, quarterly, yearly)●An expense (monthly, quarterly, yearly)●Work in progress (until project completes)●Allocation (when work is completed OR life of the product)
