Brazilian lifestyleOne of the most amazing qualities of the Brazilian culture is the Brazilian lifestyle. Brazil is still a developing country and it has been passing through some crisis every now and then. However, even when the economy goes bad Brazilian people believe that everything is going to be better. It’s called optimism. This kind of mood reflects on the music, dance and how people carry life. People like to work hard, achieve goals and improve their life but making sure that they are celebrating it every day. Therefore, Brazilian people treat others very well and like to host people from all over the world.

MUSIC / RHYTHM• There is a range of different rhythms in Brazilian musical culture.• Vinicius de Moraes wrote one of the most popular songs in the world, “ Garota de

Ipanema”.• Brazilian music represents the joy of living, which is a constant mood among brazilians.

CARNIVAL It is the biggest celebration in Brazil. This festive season involves a celebration combining elements of circus, masks and public street parties.

Carnival happens at the same time in all the cities of Brazil. Either in Belém (North) or in Florianopolis (South).

Usually people wear funny clothes and go to the streets to have fun dancing to music with rhythms such as Axé Bahia and Samba.

ARCHITETURE – OSCAR NIEMEYER STYLE

Oscar Niemeyer was an Architect that has completly changed the way of designing buildings. His drawing style make the monuments seem lighter than they are.

He also designed Brasilia (Brazilian Federal Capital). Architects from all over the world are very interested in its buildings and come to this city to see the monuments.

GASTRONOMY

As Brazil is an enormous place it offers

a range of different types of food and

drinks. No doubt, the most popular

food for lunch is Feijoada and the best

drink on summertime is Capirinha.

COFFEEBrazilian coffee is well known

worldwide. The culture of small

cultivation is still present all over the

country. For instance, Brazil provides

coffee for some of the biggest coffee

shops of the world.

SOCCERSoccer is the most popular sport in Brazil.

Brazil has won the Wold Cup 5 times. No other country has ever done it.

Some of the best players in the world are Brazilians.

We’ve spread the soccer culture all over the world.
