3. Get ready for EIT monitoring3.1 Apply SensorBelt to patient following the instructions provided in the user´s guide SensorBelt.

3.2 Connect SensorBelt with SensorBelt- Connector. Green light must appear.

3.3 Is actual SensorBelt size on patient equal to recommended size (ScoutView)?

3.4 Make sure SensorBelt matches anatomical landmarks.

3.5 Correct SensorBelt if too many electrodes are failing.

1. Determine SensorBelt size1.1 Make sure patient meets criteria for EIT monitoring.

1.2 Measure half chest circumference of patient.

1.3 Read SensorBelt size from back of measurement tape.

1.4 Obtain SensorBelt of appropriate size.

2. Prepare Swisstom BB2

2.1 Switch Swisstom BB2 on. ScoutView will appear.

2.2 Connect SensorBeltConnector to BB2 monitor.

2.3 Enter half chest circumference, height, weight and gender.
