Wednesday, May 7, 1:30 pm Trip to Whittenberger Planetarium at College of Idaho. See the night skies in the comfort of an auditorium setting, as Planetarium Director Amy Truksa shares an interesting program about what can be seen in the spring night skies over Idaho. After the program, there will be time for questions. Cost: $2 per person. Sign up for bus trip.

Saturday, May 10, 11 am Little Women Ladies Luncheon and Louisa May Alcott presentation. Enjoy a delicious luncheon with your daughters and girlfriends and watch Janet Worthington transform into the author of Little Women and hear about the hardships and adventures of the Alcott family. Sign up by May 7. Only 90 tickets will be issued. Cost for resident: dinner punch or $12 plus tax. Cost for guest: $12 plus tax. Coeur d’Alene Room.

Thursday, May 15, 9:30 am Bus trip to Hagerman for lunch followed by 1,000 Springs Boat Tour. See water displays along the Snake River Aquifer, including views of the famous Thousand Springs waterfalls and Blueheart Springs. Cost: $25 for boat tour plus lunch (estimated $10).

Friday, May 16, 7 pm La Bella Corda performs spring concert. These young classical guitar players will present music from the 16th century to present day. The program will feature the advanced students of Kelli Larson, classical guitar instructor at String Songs in Boise. Coeur d’Alene Room.

Wednesday, May 21, 10 am Tour the Basque Museum and Cultural Center of Boise. After the tour , the group will stop at the Basque Market across the street for lunch (and a plate of the delicious paella) on the patio. If the seafood at Basque Market isn’t your preference, you can join the gang on the patio next door at Bardenay’s. Cost: $4 for museum; around $9 plus tax for lunch.

Thursday, May 29, 8:30 am All-day fishing trip to Horsethief Reservoir. The bus loads at 8:30 am to head to this alpine reservoir just north of Cascade. The location includes a walk-out pier and basic picnic area. Bring your lunches and bask in the beauty of the mountain air. Ladies and gents are all welcome; all that is needed is an Idaho fishing license and fishing gear. (Team members will bring extra gear for those who may need it.) Cost: $10 for transportation plus $10 for a boxed lunch, if purchased. Team members can also help clean your trout. (Note: the site includes portable bathrooms.)
