About the Client:

Apptricity Corporation provides mobile enterprise applications to address the mission critical supply chain management and integrated

finance demands of Fortune 500 companies, small and midsize enterprises and government organizations across the globe. Their

Jetstream and Smartfleet applications accelerate business processes and command visibility and they mobilize any enterprise with

unprecedented levels of real-time business intelligence and analytics so management has visibility into every action and transaction

within the enterprise and its partners, customers and suppliers.

The problem was that Apptricity’s asset management solutions were known by private enterprises but their SCM solutions were only

known by governments as they were used during the Iraqi war, used in Afghanistan and in the war against terrorism. The New Zealand

government used Apptricity’s supply chain management solution to save the 1/3 of their kiwi fruit that perishes before it can be

shipped.

Seeing how their customers were enjoying visibility into the entire supply chain, including the ability to see inventory while it’s in transit

– and seeing how they were using real time analytics to make smarter SCM decisions, they wanted to take their solution globally to

private corporations that wanted to save millions of dollars per year by removing the opportunities for human error inherent in

spreadsheets, clipboards, and antiquated bar coding systems.
