ABOUT SHUG’S PLACE
Shug’s Place was created by Jackie Milan, an entrepreneur, active church member, and committee chair for the Women Entrepreneurs of America (WEA). The idea for Shug’s Place came about through a vision that Jackie had about a business that she wanted to start. Driven by a family history deeply rooted in music and entertainment, and having a passion for sophisticated, professional women’s events, Jackie ventured to start the organization with small events that would connect women and help to spread her vision. Eventually looking to open an event venue, Jackie is passionate about helping women reach their goals. Being a member of WEA has helped her to connect with other women professionals, and get closer to her own personal goals.
