Opening Prayer (In Unison) God of all joy, the excitement in our heart has us whistling like a tea pot. Your love is the fire that makes us sing. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for your unending compassion. Take us to school and teach us the lessons that will make our lives the wonder you want them to be. We’ve got our pads and our pencils. We are wide awake and paying attention: teach us in the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Unison Scripture Reading: Judges 16:1-4 (NLT) 17 Finally, Samson shared his secret with her. “My hair has never been cut,” he confessed, “for I was dedicated to God as a Nazirite from birth. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as anyone else.” 18 Delilah realized he had finally told her the truth, so she sent for the Philistine rulers. “Come back one more time,” she said, “for he has finally told me his secret.” So the Philistine rulers returned with the money in their hands. 19 Delilah lulled Samson to sleep with his head in her lap, and then she called in a man to shave off the seven locks of his hair. In this way she began to bring him down, and his strength left him. 20 Then she cried out, “Samson! The Philistines have come to capture you!” When he woke up, he thought, “I will do as before and shake myself free.” But he didn’t realize the LORD had left him. 21 So the Philistines captured him and gouged out his eyes. They took him to Gaza, where he was bound with bronze chains and forced to grind grain in the prison. 22 But before long, his hair began to grow back.

Opening Prayer (In Unison)

God of all joy, the excitement in our heart has us whistling like a tea pot. Your love is the fire that makes us sing. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for your unending compassion. Take us to school and teach us the lessons that will make our lives the wonder you

want them to be. We’ve got our pads and our pencils. We are wide awake and paying attention: teach us in the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Unison Scripture Reading: Judges 16:1-4 (NLT) 17 Finally, Samson shared his secret with her. “My hair has never been cut,”

he confessed, “for I was dedicated to God as a Nazirite from birth. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as

weak as anyone else.” 18 Delilah realized he had finally told her the truth, so she sent for the Philistine rulers. “Come back one more time,” she said, “for he has finally told me his secret.” So the Philistine rulers returned with the money in their hands. 19 Delilah lulled Samson to sleep with his head in her

lap, and then she called in a man to shave off the seven locks of his hair. In this way she began to bring him down, and his strength left him. 20 Then she

cried out, “Samson! The Philistines have come to capture you!” When he woke up, he thought, “I will do as before and shake myself free.” But he

didn’t realize the LORD had left him. 21 So the Philistines captured him and gouged out his eyes. They took him to Gaza, where he was bound with

bronze chains and forced to grind grain in the prison. 22 But before long, his hair began to grow back.

God, we love you and the genuine expression of love is giving. You showed your love for us first by giving us your Son. We demonstrate our love for you by giving now a portion of what you have given to us. We give freely. We give cheerfully. We will not rob you. Instead, we will worship you by giving from our heart.  You are our #1 priority. We will not treat banks or bills better than we treat you because you deserve all the glory, the honor and the praise. We refuse to live under a curse. Therefore, in obedience to your Word, we bring our tithe and our offering to you today. PUT your promise into action! Open the windows of heaven and provide what we need for our desires and our destiny!

Page 6: Announcements and Opening Prayer July 27, 2014

POUR into our lives the phenomenal and spectacular by releasing a blessing that is beyond our wildest dreams! PROTECT everything that we currently have and do not permit the enemy to abort anything that you are trying to give us for our future.  The tithe is what we owe, the offering is seed we sow. We sow now with the expectation of jobs and better jobs, of businesses and greater businesses, of raises and bonuses, of houses and land, of freedom from debt and supernatural increase. Bless us indeed and enlarge our territory as we live for your glory. Alleluia! In the mighty, matchless and miraculous name of Jesus, we confess. Amen!
