Reality is different from fiction. In f iction, things need to make sense.

Line from my Daily Journal

Page 4: 6 things sports teach me

I write my journal everyday, things that worked in my day and things that didn’t work.

So this is the starting & only line in f irst page of this years journal,

“Reality is different from fiction. In f iction, things need to make sense.”

But people take this in opposite way around. They think, in reality things need to make sense, not in f iction.

Don’t listen to people make your own way.Do things you love to do, it doesn’t need to make sense to other.

I have learned 6 amazing things from sports...

BRUCEBOCHYTEAM WORK

FROM

LESSON #1

Page 6: 6 things sports teach me

After the San Francisco Giants swept the Detroit Tigers 4-0 to win the World Series in

October, Bochy was astounded:

"It's amazing what a group of guys who play

like a team can accomplish. I'm numb that we have won two World Series in the last

three years."

BRUCEBOCHY BASEBALL MANAGER

TEAMWORK ON

Lesson: As an entrepreneur, it's critical to surround yourself with people who are driven and committed to accomplish your company goals together rather than focusing on their own

individual goals. As they say in sports, there is no "i" in team.

"I did everything I wanted to. I finished my career the way I wanted

to."

GOALSETTING ON

Lesson: As an entrepreneur, it's important to set goals and work toward them every day to ensure that you leave a lasting legacy that's not filled with regrets.

LIONELMESSICHARACTER

FROM

LESSON #3

Page 12: 6 things sports teach me

The forward for the Barcelona and Argentina soccer teams had this to say about being a

good person on and off the field:

"I am more worried about being a good

person than being the best football player in

the world. When all this is over, what are you left

with?"

LIONELMESSI FOOTBALL STAR

CHARACTER ON

Lesson: In order to achieve your dream & survive, entrepreneurs must focus on their goal and way to be there. But those goals should not come at the sacrifice of operating yourself in an ethical way.

Page 13: 6 things sports teach me

SERENA WILLIMASRESILIENCE

FROM

LESSON #4

Page 14: 6 things sports teach me

After coming back from a life-threatening illness Williams went on to win Wimbledon, Olympic

and U.S. Open titles in 2012, and had this to say:

"I really think a champion is defined not by their wins but by how they can recover when they fall. I have fallen several

times. Each time I just get up and I dust myself off and I pray and I'm able

to do better."

SERENAWILLIAMS TENNIS STAR

RESILIENCE ON

Lesson: As an new entrepreneur you will consistently face adversity of some kind or another. How you react in these times can define whether you succeed or fail at achieving your goals.

Page 15: 6 things sports teach me

LIONELMESSITEAM GOAL

FROM

LESSON #5

Page 16: 6 things sports teach me

Yes you guessed correct he is my favorite of all sports players out there. And there is one

more thing to learn from this:

“I play for the name front of my shirtand people will

remember the name on its back.”

LIONELMESSI FOOTBALL STAR

TEAMGOAL ON

Lesson: As an entrepreneur you must make sure that your organization’s goal is well understood by your employees. I always go to work with one thought, “Go to work only for work. And at the end

everything will work.”

Page 17: 6 things sports teach me

ELIMANNINGSUCCESS

FROM

LESSON #6

Page 18: 6 things sports teach me

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning on success. After winning his second Super Bowl,

one more than his older brother Peyton, Manning wasn't boastful:

"This isn't about bragging rights. This is a lot bigger. This is about a team, an organization

being named world champions."

ELIMANNING NEW YORK GIANTS STAR

SUCCESS ON

Lesson: When you achieve success in business in 2013, approach it with humility. After all, even if you operate as an independent entrepreneur, it's likely that someone has helped you along the way.

Recognize those people and make sure they share in your success.
