This week in class we watch a portion of a movie to teach us about culture shock. In this movie the girl went to Africa in a group and went though certain stages when we left off at the end of class she was at stage 2

We played a card game in class that simulated us going to different countries and how to communicate noverbally

We discussed as a class tips to help you get over being homesick or being in a state of culture shock. Some of those tips were to go ahead and bash the other culture in private and to force yourself to go out and mingle do not stay to yourself because that will only make it worse.
