Geography is going places!

Over the past few months geographers have been out and about. There have been fieldwork visits for Year 9 to Betws-y-Coed investigating the impact of tourism, Year 12 carried out a river study of the Afon Conwy whilst Year 8 went to Loggerheads on a nature conservation day.

Recently the Year 10 GCSE classes have completed their controlled assessment fieldwork with an investigation of the impacts of traffic congestion on Chester city centre.

In May the Year 7’s will go on their annual cruise of the River Mersey followed by a study of the Albert Dock.
