PROCESSMagazine front cover
Draft 1 -
The costume is the
same as the
poster, this will be
something I will
change. I will conduct
another photo shoot.
This area looks too
cluttered, I have tried
to incorporate the
triangle in to reinforce
the narrative of the
film, but I do not think
it works effectively. I
will definitely change
this in my second
draft. Cannot read the blue text clearly. I will try out different
colours for the text, possibly white, red or black.
I think the top banner
works well, the
colours of the text
attract attention to
the key words, thus
creating buzz words.
I think the direct eye
sight from the model
is effective, its
haunting this will be
something I will
replicate in my
second draft.
I think I need to
make the font
clearer, so you can
see it from further
away.
I don’t feel the
masthead font
suits the genre of
the film . I will
address this.
Draft 2 -I have kept the direct
eye sight from the
model but changed
the clothing. The
clothing is everyday
which suits the film.I have added an
effect into the
background of the
image. I think this
makes it look more
mysterious and it
fills the page a bit
more, than it being
just plain.
Made the anchorage
stand out more by
removing the triangle
behind. Although I
am not sure the font
is appropriate or
suits the genre.
Peer feedback
"I like the graphic in the
background but maybe
it could be more
effective placed on top
of the image, to relate
to your thriller genre as
it would make it
mysterious. I don't
think the font of the
anchorage 'EYES' is
suitable, it looks a bit
childish”.
I want to add more
content, to make
the page look
busier. This is a
common
convention of film
magazines. I may
add in puff, like in
draft 1.
I want to add in other
images of films, to reflect
existing films magazines.
