Previously…I gave an overview of prospecting with posture and confidence and promised to elaborate more on each of the 5 steps in more detail, individually.
Here is the first step…
1. Believe in yourself and your abilities
One of the first things you’ll need to do is to know your self worth and your value.
Now depending, this may take having to go through some personal development and working on yourself by reading positive
reinforcement books and listening to audio.
It could also mean getting around people who are positive and will LIFT YOU UP as
opposed to being negative and tearing down you or your dreams & ambitions.
You’ll want to surround yourself with people
who have the same types of desires and goals as you do.
Many of us have been conditioned to think and believe some really terrible, self-defeating things
about ourselves.
This may stem from things your parents, siblings or other family members, teachers, etc. said to you as you were
growing up. If that is the case then…
You may have some serious work to do on yourself in order to undo a lot of that mental abuse!
And if you are new to business…
You may even need to slow down a bit on working your business and start working on
yourself.
Get around mentors and support groups who will push you and tell you that…
You CAN do it! … and tell yourself that every single day until
YOU believe it!
