5. Compare your book with the top 10 bestsellers you see.

6. Write down what you find in the those books:

a) What does the book cover look like? Is it catchy, clear, attractive?

b) What did you write as your opening…because visitors can read the firstfew pages before buying on Kindle. Does it grab the reader?

c) DESCRIPTION—look at the description of the 10 ten bestsellers Does itmake you feel as if you have to have that book? Amazon doesn’t Tell youit’s not Just the description of the book; it is actually your sales page.Make your reader want, desire, need your book. Now!

d) CATEGORIES. This feature is seen by the author/publisher only. Takenote of that. Use both of your categories to expose your book to Kindlebuyers--the 300 million of them who have credit cards on file. Listen tome well: those people love to buy books; they buy them often.
