Stamps and Coupons App

Touching mainly focuses on managing stamps and coupons alongside with stacking points. Rather than the users carrying around the physical stamps cards, Touching allows keeping track and updating the stamps through the app, thus creating less hassle.

Touching also allows saving points by reading the information of one’s card spending through NFC function in smartphones.

PENNY PINCHER

These are people who prefer inexpensive things and price is the main aspect that people consider when purchasing goods. This can also include people who keep track of benefits that their banks give them, sales and discounts that stores have, and stamp cards from restaurants and cafes that give you free items for loyalty.

“I feel like cards (credit usually) provide benefits / discounts.”

“I only use stamps that are easy to keep track of. These days, there are too much stamps. I stopped caring.”“I think getting information about discounts/benefits for specific cards through NFC is a great idea.”

Page 23: MONY

MONEY ON MY MIND

While banks organize things for their users, a lot of it is also done by the

users themselves. For instance, keeping track of their spending, putting money aside for the future, or keeping several accounts. Users will check their balances, or make their own budgets for the future, and keep track of the accounts from different bank themselves. Some people do not track their finances at all though, and only keep track mentally.

“I have two accounts, a Korean one and an American one. I use them both evenly but my money mainly goes into my US account.” “My Korean account sends me an update every time I spend money on my card involuntarily. But honestly it’s annoying and I don’t like it that much” “When your income fluctuates it’s hard to keep a solid plan… But I keep track to not go over budget either”

Page 24: MONY

LESS IS MORE

This is in regards to physical belongings like wallets, applications on

smartphones, and coupons. Many users would like things to be minimized and efficient. For example, some people take pictures of barcodes instead of downloading the application because of clutter.

“I carry minimum number of physical cards because of the size of my wallet. It only fits maximum 6 cards.”

“I use points and stamps and all only when the actual card is not needed. Like when your phone number or mobile app is enough.”“Bank apps have separate functions into different apps. I don’t know why.”
