CONSTRUCTION MOUNTING OPTICAL PROTECTION

MaterialsAdjustable lamp housing: Cast aluminum. Ballast enclosure: Cast aluminum with top cover plate. Lens: Clear, tempered glass in captive cast aluminum gasketted frame. Asymmetric reflector system: Precision, die formed specular embossed aluminum.

Electrical ComponentsBallast: Electronic, 200 - 277V. 120V and 347V require a magnetic auxiliary transformer. Lampholders: PGZ - 18, 5KV Pulse rated, porcelain.

The 6008 series is designed for wall mounting over a recessed j-box. Wall must have sufficient strength to support luminaire. The mounting plate is secured to wall and the luminaire is hooked on to the plate and locked in place with set screws.

The optical design of the 6008 series is optimized for shallow ceiling wash distribution. The head can be articulated up and down 15 degrees to either transform the uplight to a forward throw distribution for higher ceilings or downward to spread the wash effect farther into the room. The reflector system is developed for maximum efficiency using specular embossed aluminum reflector sheet. The lamp is positioned to cut off wall side glare and maximize room side output. Unit is dimmable to 50% light output with 0 - 10 volt control.

The 6008 is normally provided for indoor dry or damp locations to UL and CSA standards but, if ordered, can be made suitable for wet locations to UL and CSA standards. (LOC 4)

All units have a protective tempered glass shield to protect the lamp compartment. The wet location units are totally sealed for wet location usage.
