Fisheries : (i) To maintain the Level of Fish Production, Fish Seed Production at Govt. Fish Seed Farm. (ii) Strengthing the activities of extension and educational awareness to cultivate the habit of Fish food among the people of Chandigarh.. (iii) Department also supply Gumbusia Fish to the Malaria Department to Control the Menace of Malaria Chickengunia and dengu.

6. Senior Assistant (1) Senior Assistant (DA-1) : To look after the purchase cases (minor and major). Maintenance of GPF of Class III and IV (issue of GPF statement to Class IV) and advances related to GP Fund. He also look after the work of Clerk-1. (2) Senior Assistant (DA-2) : To deal with Cash transaction of AH and Fisheries, maintenance of Cash book along with Court cases. Reconciliation with AG in respect of Govt. figures of AH & Fisheries and Treasury in respect of receipt figures of AH and Fisheries. He also looks after the establishment. (3) Senior Assistant (DA-3) : To deal the establishment cases of Class IV employees along with their service books and ACRs and other related cases. She is also looking after the work of Clerk-2.

7. Poultry Inspector To look after the job of Poultry Birds, Avian Influenza, bird care centre.

8. Statistical Assistant Vacant

9. Field Investigator To collect data of major product like Milk, Egg, Wool & meat and also look after Collection, compilation, tabulation etc of Statistical work of production of major Livestock products such as milk, Egg, Wool & Meat in a regular manner. To prepare the season & Annual reports of production of Major livestock products of Milk Egg Meat & Wool.

10. Computer (1) Computer (First) Collection, compilation, tabulation etc of Statistical work of production of major Livestock products such as Milk, Egg, Wool & Meat in a regular manner and also look after the Record work of all the seas beside Statistical work to be assigned by Research Officer. To prepare the reports of vaccination, FMD reports, Animal Disease Surveillance reports contagious & Non Contagious report, Rinder pest/other cases report, RDDL report & A.I. reports & sent to G.O.I., New Delhi. (2) Computer (Second) Collection, compilation, tabulation etc of

Statistical work of production of major Livestock products such as Milk, Egg, Wool & Meat in a regular manner and also look after the Statistical work to be assigned by Research. Officer.

11. Clerks (1) Clerk (First) To prepare pay bills, loans and advances preparation of its registers, Income tax deductions and record along with sending of important statements to Income Tax authorities, allotment of government accommodation and deduction of license fee, maintains of G.I.S. account and final payment of GIS, He will route his cases through Senior Assistant (One). He will also look after the Central Store along with office store and also updating the web site under RTI acts. (2) Clerk (Second) will prepare contingent bills, Liveries, TA bills and medical bills. He will route his cases through Senior Assistant (Three). He also look after the contingent related cases of Fisheries. (3) Clerk (Third) to look after the diary and dispatch. She is further to do the typing work of Department and helps the Research Assistant in discharge of her duties on calls.

12. Veterinary

Pharmacist

To assist the V.O. in discharge of their duties & monitoring the dispensaries.

13. Peon To carry out the distribution of dak and other miscellaneous work

14. Bull Attendant To do multifarious duties as handling of animals, sweeping, dusting and helping the Veterinary doctor.

15. Water Carrier To do the multifarious duties of class IV like sweeping, attending/handling of animals

16. Driver To drive the Departmental Vehicle.

17. Mali To look after the plants at the premises of Vety Institutions.

18. Sweeper To do the multifarious duties of class IV like sweeping, attending/handling of animals

19. Lab Attendant To do multifarious duties as handling of Animals, dusting and helping the Veterinary doctor.

20. Chowkidar To look after the Vety Institutions & Administrative block.

FISHERIES DEPARTMENT

1. Farm Superintendent To manage the Fish Seed Farm breeding of fishes, control, diseases of fishes, conservation of fishes. Development of fisheries in the La ke and also control the angling activities.

2. Senior Assistant Vacant

3. Fisherman To catch the Fishes. Help in breeding of fishes. Collection of Eggs, Spawn, and supply of Fish Seed.

4. Boatman To catch the Fishes. Help in breeding of fishes. Collection of Eggs, Spawn, supply of Fish Seed, and boating.
