Summer Camp at Easter Seals is an amazing experience for campers with disabilities. Camp is offered in both an overnight and daycamp setting. Campers are encouraged to try new experiences, build self confidence and increase personal independence in a safe and secure setting. Lifelong friendships are formed and time spent among their peers is invaluable. Campers enjoy a wide variety of activities meeting a diverse level of interests and abilities. Programs are adapted as needed and include archery, canoeing, roller sledge hockey, wheelchair basketball, arts and crafts, campfires, evening socials and many more. All Easter Seals Camp counsellors receive specialized training to prepare them for the diverse needs of campers with disabilities. Training is offered in personal care and hygiene, inclusive and adaptive practices, lifting and transferring, epilepsy awareness, speech and feeding techniques, team building and positive behavioural supports.

Summer Day Camp
Easter Seals Day Camp is a safe, fun, interactive, and meaningful environment for campers with disabilities. It offers a program where all campers are fully engaged and can learn, live and play together. Campers develop a new sense of independence and self esteem, improved social and communication skills all while having fun with friends. Daycamp is offered at Husky Energy Easter Seals House, 206 Mt. Scio Road over an 8 week period in July and August. Activities offered include wall climbing, daily physical activity, arts and crafts, field trips, guest speakers, canoeing, talent shows and many more. Campers can register for one week, or any number of weeks for a maximum of all 8 weeks. Start day End day Registration

Camp Bumbleberry
An overnight adventure spent away from home among friends enjoying full accessible activities no matter what disability you may have. People of all ages with disabilities are welcome at Camp Bumbleberry. It is offered throughout the summer to different age groups and is hosted at the Lavrock facility on Salmonier Line, just a short 45 min drive from St. John’s. Family Camp - Mom, dad, brother and sister all go to camp. Campers of all ages and ability experience a weekend of adventure. It's a great opportunity for family members to meet other families with similar life styles and interests over a weekend.
Adult Camp - An opportunity for people with disabilities ages 19 years and over to spend time with their peers.
Youth Camp - Campers age 9-18 years gather together to develop increased levels of independence, self esteem and confidence. Campers enjoy adventures such as canoeing, archery, campfire, motorcycle runs, arts and crafts, dance and more. The ages indicated are guidelines, if you feel your child would fit best in a different camp, please contact us and have a chat. Our goal is a successful camp experience that fits the individual camper.

1 Please note, there will be activities planned for the final day. In order to enjoy a full day of camp, pick-up time has been extended to 4:30 pm on the final day. 2 Camp prices have been reduced for 2016.
