Gearboxes are supplied byBONFIGLIOLI RIDUTTORIS.p.A. after they have passedthe controls provided in theapplicable documentation forthe Company's quality controlsystem UNI EN ISO 9001, in-spected and prepared for in-stallation in the mounting po-sition that was specified in thecustomer's order and con-firmed by BONFIGLIOLIRIDUTTORI S.p.A.
As far as the unit technicalspecifications, refer to the cat-alogue or to the description inthe customer's order as con-firmed by BONFIGLIOLIRIDUTTORI S.p.A.

Identificazione
Tutti i riduttori, motoriduttori emotori sono muniti di una tar-ghetta dalla quale potrannoessere rilevati i dati necessarialla loro identificazione.Nella tabella (S01) sono indi-cate le due tipologie di targhedi identificazione utilizzate perle varie configurazioni.
Identifikation
Alle Getriebe, Getriebemoto-ren und Motoren sind miteinem Typenschild ausgestat-tet, dem die für ihre Identifika-tion erforderlichen Daten en-tnommen werden können.In der Tabelle (S01) sind diezwei Schildertypen aufgeführt,die zur Identifikation der ver-schiedenen Konfigurationendienen.

Tous les réducteurs, motoré-ducteurs et moteurs sont mu-nis d'une plaque sur laquellefigurent les données néces-saires à leur identification.Dans le tableau (S01) sont in-diqués les deux types de pla-ques signalétiques utiliséespour les différentes configura-tions.

La tabella (S02) indica i datiche è indispensabile fornire infase di richiesta ricambi perpoter effettuare una correttaidentificazione del prodotto edi conseguenza una sollecitarisposta alla richiesta stessa.In funzione delle particolaritecniche di montaggio deicomponenti utilizzate dallaBONFIGLIOLI RIDUTTORIatte a ottimizzare le prestazio-ni dei riduttori e motoriduttorisi consiglia, dove previsto,l'acquisto dei kit di montaggio.

Ricevimento
Al ricevimento del riduttore omotoriduttore, controllare chenon abbia subito danni duranteil trasporto ed eventualmentesegnalarli allo spedizioniere.Controllare inoltre che le ca-ratteristiche riportate in targacorrispondano a quanto richie-sto in ordine e confermato daBONFIGLIOLI RIDUTTORIS.p.A.
I riduttori vengono consegnatiimballati in contenitori di car-tone.In alcuni casi, gli imballi di mag-giori dimensioni sono riempiticon dei materiali atti a compen-sare gli spazi vuoti rispettandola stabilità e le dimensioni dei ri-duttori.
Reception
Upon receipt of the gearbox,check that it was not dam-aged during the transporta-tion; if damage is noted, in-form the carrier immediately.
In addition, check that thedata stated on the platematch with those specified onorder and confirmed byBONFIGLIOLI RIDUTTORIS.p.A.
The gearboxes are deliveredpacked in cardboard cartons.In some cases, larger cartonsmay be filled with polyure-thane foam.
Warenannahme
Bei der Anlieferung des Getrie-bes oder des Getriebemotorsist zu kontrollieren, ob diesewährend des Transports be-schädigt wurden. Sollte dies derFall sein, muß dies der Spediti-on sofort mitgeteilt werden.Zudem muß kontrolliert wer-den, ob die Eigenschaften, dieauf dem Schild angegebensind, denjenigen entsprechen,die im Auftrag verlangt undvon BONFIGLIOLI RIDUTTO-RI S.p.A bestätigt wurden.Die Getriebe werden in Kar-tons verpackt geliefert.In einigen Fällen werden grö-ßere Verpackungen verwen-det, die mit stoßdämpfendemMaterial aufgefüllt werden, diejedoch die erforderliche Stabi-lität und die Getriebemaßegewährleisten.

Les réducteurs sont livrésdans des emballages en car-ton.Dans certains cas, les embal-lages de dimensions plusgrandes sont remplis avecdes matériels aptes à com-penser les espaces vides enrespectant la stabilité et la di-mension des réducteurs.

Trasporto e movimentazione
Gli imballi contenenti più ri-duttori sono normalmente ap-plicati a bancali in legno perfacilitarne la movimentazionetramite carrelli elevatori otranspallets.
Il ricevente avrà cura che iprodotti siano soggetti a tra-sporto e movimentazione uti-lizzando mezzi e attenzioni talida assicurare il mantenimentodello stato delle condizioni for-nite dalla BONFIGLIOLIRIDUTTORI S.p.A. all'atto del-la consegna.
I riduttori possono essere mo-vimentati individualmente so-llevandoli con fasce o cinghie(se il peso lo richiede) appli-cate agli alberi entrata e usci-ta o a punti di sollevamentopredisposti allo scopo.
All packing parts must be col-lected and disposed of or re-cycled according to currentregulations in the customer'scountry.
Transport and handling
Cartons containing more thanone gearbox are usually at-tached to wooden pallets tofacilitate handling by forkliftsor transpallets.
The customer must handlethe products by appropriatemeans and with suitable carein order to keep them in thestate in which they are sup-plied by BONFIGLIOLIRIDUTTORI S.p.A. at thetime of delivery.
Gearboxes may be handledindividually by lifting themwith belts or chains (if re-quired due to weight) at-tached to input and outputshafts or to eyebolts suitablyprovided.
Alle Verpackungselementemüssen nach den im betref-fenden Land gültigen Vor-schriften entsorgt oder recy-celt werden.
Transport, Auf-und Abladung

Der Empfänger muß dafürsorgen, daß der weitereTransport oder die Bewegungder Produkte aufmerksam undunter Einsatz solcher Mittel er-folgt, die den Aufrechterhaltdes Zustands gewährleisten,der bei der Lieferung seitensder BONFIGLIOLI RIDUTTO-RI S.p.A. gegeben war.Die Getriebe können individu-ell umplaziert werden, indemman sie, falls dies wegen ih-res Gewichts notwendig ist,mit Riemen oder Bändern, diean die Eingangs-und Ausgangs-wellen befestigt sind, anhebt.

Transport et manutention

Le client veillera à ce que letransport et la manutentiondes produits se fassent de fa-çon à assurer le maintien desconditions fournies parBONFIGLIOLI RIDUTTORIS.p.A. au moment de la livrai-son.
Le réducteurs peuvent êtredéplacés un à la fois parl’entremise de bandes ousangles (si le poids l’exige)reliées aux points de levageprévus à cet effet.
c) Per periodi di stoccaggiosuperiori ai 60 giorni, le su-perfici interessate agli ac-coppiamenti quali flange,alberi e giunti, devono es-sere protette con idoneoprodotto antiossidante(Mobilarma 248 od equiva-lente).
d) Per periodi di stoccaggioprevisti superiori ai 6 mesi,i prodotti devono essereoggettodelle seguenti attività:d1)I prodotti forniti con lubrifi-cazione permanente dov-ranno avere le parti lavora-te esterne e quelle di ac-coppiamento ricoperte digrasso atto ad evitare ossi-dazioni.
c) For storage periods of over60 days, all machined sur-faces such as flanges,shafts and couplings mustbe protected with a suit-able anti-oxidation product(Mobilarma 248 or equiva-lent).
d) The following measuresmust be taken in respectof products for which theexpected storage periodexceeds 6 months:d1)For life lubricated prod-ucts, the external ma-chined and mating partsmust be greased to pre-vent oxidation.
c) Bei Lagerzeiten von mehrals 60 Tagen die Oberflä-chen für die Verbindung,wie Flansche, Wellen oderKupplungen mit einemgeeigneten Oxidations-schutzmittel behandeln(Mobilarma 248 oder einäquivalentes Mittel).
d) Bei Lagerzeiten von mehrals 6 Monaten müssen fol-gende Vorkehrungen ge-troffen werden:
d1)Bei den Produkten mitDauer-schmierung müssendie maschinell bearbeite-ten Außenseiten und dieVerbindungsflächen mitFett vor Oxidation ge-schützt werden.
c) Pour les périodes de stoc-kage supérieures à 60jours, les surfaces concer-nées par les liaisons tellesque les brides, les arbreset les accouplements doi-vent être protégées avecun produit antioxydantspécial (Mobilarma 248 ouéquivalent).
d) Pour les périodes de stoc-kage prévues supérieuresà 6 mois, les produits doi-vent être objet des contrô-les suivants:d1)les produits fournis aveclubrification permanentedevront avoir les partiesexternes usinées ainsi quecelles de liaison recouver-tes de graisse pour éviterles oxydations.
Stoccaggio
Il corretto stoccaggio dei pro-dotti ricevuti richiede l'esecu-zione delle seguenti attività:
a) Escludere aree all'aperto,zone esposte alle intempe-rie o con eccessiva umidi-tà.
b) Interporre sempre tra ilpavimento ed i prodotti,pianali lignei o di altra na-tura, atti ad impedire il di-retto contatto col suolo.
Storage
Observe the following instruc-tions to ensure correct stor-age of the products:
a) Do not store outdoors, inareas exposed to weatheror with excessive humidity.
b) Always place boards inwood or other material bet-ween floor and products,to avoid direct contact withthe floor.
Lagerung
Die korrekte Lagerung derAntriebe erfordert folgendeVorkehrungen:
a) Die Produkte nicht im Frei-en lagern und nicht inRäumen, die der Witterungausgesetzt sind, oder einehohe Feuchtigkeit aufwei-sen.
b) Die Produkte nie direktauf dem Boden, sondernauf Unterlagen aus Holzoder einem anderen Mate-rial lagern.
Stockage
Un correct stockage des pro-duits reçus nécessite de res-pecter les règles suivantes:
a) Exclure les zones à cielouvert, les zones expo-sées aux intempéries ouavec humidité excessive.
b) Interposer dans tous lescas entre le plancher etles produits des planchesde bois ou des supportsd'autre nature empêchantle contact direct avec lesol.

d2)I prodotti forniti privi di lu-brificante, oltre alle attivitàdescritte al punto d1), dov-ranno essere posizionaticon il tappo di sfiato nellaposizione più alta e riempi-ti di olio.I riduttori, prima del loro uti-lizzo, dovranno essere riem-piti con la corretta quantità etipo di lubrificante previsto.
d2)In addition to the mea-sures at point d1), prod-ucts supplied without oilmust be positioned withthe breather plug high up,and top filled with oil.Before using the gear-boxes, restore the correctquantity of recommendedoil.
d2)Die Produkte ohneSchmiermittel müssen wieunter Punkt d1) behandeltwerden und außerdem mitnach oben gerichteter Ent-lüftungsschraube gelagertund mit Öl gefüllt werden.Die Getriebe müssen vorihrer Verwendung mit derangegebenen Menge desvorgesehenen Schmiermit-tels gefüllt werden.
d2)les produits fournis sanslubrifiant, outre les opéra-tions décrites au point d1),devront être positionnésavec le bouchon reniflarddans la position la plushaute et remplis d'huile.Les réducteurs, avantd'être utilisés, devront êtreremplis avec la juste quan-tité et type de lubrifiantprévu.
Gearbox installation
The following installation in-structions for gearboxes mustbe observed:
• Remove any plasticguards from the shafts ac-cording to safety regula-tions in customer's coun-try. These guards shallthen be disposed of ac-cording to the rules inforce in each country.
• Remove any protective co-ating with solvents accor-ding to the local regula-tions.
Do not let the solvent be intouch with oilseal lips.
Installation der Getriebe
Für die Installation des Ge-triebes ist es äußerst wichtig,daß folgende Normen beach-tet werden:
• Die eventuell an den Wel-len vorhandenen Schutz-abdeckungen aus Kunst-stoff den im Anwenderlandgültigen Sicherheits- undVerhütungsnormen gemäßentfernen. Diese Schutz-abdeckungen müssen denim jeweiligen Land gültigenNormen entsprechend ge-sammelt und entsorgt wer-den.
• Eventuell vorhandeneSchutzschichten mit einemLösungsmittel und unterBerücksichtigung der imAnwenderland gültigenNormen entfernen.
Es muß unbedingt vermie-den werden, daß Lösemittelmit den Lippen der Dich-tungsringe in Kontaktkommt.
Installation réducteurs
Il est très important, pourl'installation du réducteur, dese conformer aux règles sui-vantes:
• Enlever les éventuellesprotections en plastiqueprésentes sur les arbressuivant les normes de se-curité et prévention en vi-gueur dans le pays dudestinataire. Ensuite, cesprotections seront récupé-rées et éliminées du desti-nataire suivant les normesen vigueur dans son pays.
• Eliminer au besoin les pro-duits protecteurs à l’aidede solvants suivant la rè-glementation en vigueurdans le pays du destinata-ire.
Le solvant ne doit pas en-trer en contact avec la lèvredes bagues d'étanchéité.
Installazione dei riduttori
E' molto importante, perl'installazione del riduttore,attenersi alle seguenti norme:
• Rimuovere le eventualiprotezioni in plastica pre-senti sugli alberi seguen-do le norme di sicurezza eprevenzione in vigore nelpaese del destinatario.Successivamente, questeprotezioni dovranno esse-re recuperate ed eliminatesecondo le norme in vigo-re nel proprio paese.
• Rimuovere eventuali pro-tettivi con solventi seguen-do le norme in vigore nelpaese del destinatario.
Evitare che il solvente ven-ga a contatto con il labbrodegli anelli di tenuta.
• Make sure that the gearunit is safely secured, toavoid vibrations in opera-tion, and that foot/flangebolts on a flat, machinedsurface .
• If shocks, overloading, orthe possibility of locking areexpected, install hydrauliccouplings, clutches, torquelimiters, etc..
• Um irgendwelche Schwin-gungen zu vermeiden istsicherzustellen, daß dieBefestigung des Getriebesstabil und auf entspre-chend bearbeiteten Flä-chen erfolgt.
• Entsprechende Schutzele-mente wie Hydraulik-kupplungen, Drehzahlbe-grenzer, usw. (falls es zuStößen, längeren Überbela-stungen oder Klemmungenkommen könnte) einbauen.
• S’assurer que la fixationdu réducteur est stable,afin d’éviter toute vibra-tion, et qu’elle résulte surdes surfaces usinées..
• Installer (en cas de chocs,de surcharges prolongéesou de blocages) desaccouplements hydrauliques,des embrayages, des limi-teurs de couple, etc..
• Assicurarsi che il fissaggiodel riduttore, sia stabile,onde evitare qualsiasi vi-brazione, e sia effettuatosu piani lavorati.
• Installare ( se si prevedo-no urti, sovraccarichi pro-lungati o possibili bloccag-gi) giunti idraulici, frizioni,limitatori di coppia, ecc.
• Se i riduttori o i motori ve-rranno riverniciati, si dov-ranno proteggere i pianilavorati e il bordo esternodegli anelli di tenuta perevitare che la vernice neessichi la gomma, pregiu-dicando la tenuta del pa-raolio stesso. Si consigliainoltre di proteggere il forodell'eventuale tappo disfiato per evitarne l'occlu-sione, la targa di identifi-cazione e il tappo di livelloolio (dove previsto).
• If the gearboxes are to bepainted, protect the ma-chined surfaces and theoilseals to prevent paintfrom drying out the rubberand jeopardising the func-tioning of the seal ring. Inaddition, protect the holeof the breather plug (ifpresent) to prevent clog-ging, as well as the identifi-cation plate and the oillevel plug (if applicable).
• Werden die Getriebe oder dieMotoren nochmals lackiert,müssen die bearbeitetenFlächen und der äußereRand der Dichtringe dabeientsprechend geschütztwerden. Dadurch soll verhindert werden, daß es durchden Lack zum Austrocknendes Gummis mit folglichemAbdichtungsverlust kommt.Ebenso wird empfohlen, dieÖffnung der eventuell vor-handenen Entlüftungs-schraube, das Typenschildund die Ölstandschraube(falls vorhanden) abzude-cken, um deren Verschmut-zung bzw. Verstopfung zuvermeiden.
• En phase de peinture, ilfaudra protéger le plansusinés et le bord extérieurdes bagues d'étanchéitépour éviter que la peinturene dessèche le caout-chouc, ce qui risque denuire à l'efficacité du joint.Nous vous conseillons parailleurs de protéger le troudu bouchon reniflard s'il yen a un, pour éviter qu'ilne se bouche, la plaquesignalétique et le bouchonde niveau d'huile (s'il estprévu).

Non sottoporre gli alberi adurti che possano danneg-giare i cuscinetti interni.
• L'accoppiamento all'alberodi uscita cavo del riduttore(tolleranza H7) viene nor-malmente eseguito conperni lavorati con tolleran-za f7. Dove il tipo di appli-cazione lo richieda, si puòprevedere un accoppia-mento con una leggera in-terferenza (H7 - j6).
Avoid hitting on the shafts:this may damage internalbearings.
