Celebrating 50 Years Thank you to the Preschool students for helping Rabbi Ilan polish our Shul’s menorah! Rabbi Ilan explained that this menorah has been used for 55 years in the Daily Minyan during Chanukah and he needed their special help to get it ready for the upcoming chag. He asked the children to help “polish” it for the Shul so it can be nice and shiny for Chanukah. The children were so eager to help and couldn’t wait for their turn with the rag. Shabbos Chanukah, November 30 Next week, our Shul will observe Kehilla Shabbos. Through the Torah portions read around Chanukah, we experience the struggles of the Tribes of Yisrael in achieving unity. It is fitting that, on Shabbos Chanukah, we experience the collection of our “tribes” as all our minyanim daven together and we recite Hallel for the miraculous existence of the Jewish People. Services begin at 8:30am in the Main Shul. Welcome Yeshiva Atlanta Sophomores! Welcome to Yeshiva Atlanta Sophomores who are spending Shabbos in Toco Hills this Shabbos for their class Shabbaton!
