MEMORIAL DONATIONSMemorial donations are used to purchase books for the Library with book plates affixed denoting the donor and honoree, or to fund pro-grams. The donor tells us how to best use the gift. Donations are tax deductible. We also accept donations in honor of people for their birthdays, anniversaries, or other celebrations. As members of the Rhode Island Historical Society, the Greenville Library has been provided a limited number of passes for 2016. These day passes offer free admis-sion for up to four people to the John Brown Museum, the Museum of Work and Culture, and The RIHS research library. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved in advance. Get yours while they last! Please check the museum websites for hours and locations.

We have added to our Zinio collection. Check out these new titles: Cook’s Illustrated, Organic Life, Inc. Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, Conde Nast Traveler, ESPN the Magazine, Yoga Journal and more. The Picnic Table Reads Book Club will be reading The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Fowler. The group will meet on Thurs-day, February 18th at 1:00 pm.

The Mystery Book Club will be reading The Stranger by Harlan Coben. The group will meet on Tuesday, Feb-ruary 2nd at 1:30 pm.

Cesareo’s Circle will be reading All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. The group will meet on Thursday, February 11th at 6:30 pm.

Michael De La Pena, author of “The Coyote Wars” and “The Last Coyote” delivered a fascinating talk and signed books.

Karen Antonowicz delivers her Fashions of Downton Abbey talk.

Children’s BubbleJack Mayer, age nine, will display his Transformers collection in the children’s room bubble. Jack’s dad was a big fan when he was a kid, and now Jack has been interested in Transformers since he was three. Fans of Transformers will not want to miss this collection!

Bedtime Story TimeChildren ages 3-6 are invited to join us for a special evening story time. Chil-dren will hear stories and songs and make a fun craft! Bedtime story time will take place on Wednesday, February 17 at 6:30 PM. Registration, which begins February 1, can be done at the children’s desk or by phone at 949-3630 ext 2. Children may wear their pajamas!

PAWS to READ Does your child need practice with reading skills? Here is an opportu-nity to practice this winter with a therapy dog who LOVES to listen to stories! Children ages 6- 11 may sign up for one 20 minute session per month. The next session is Monday February 8th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

Share a Story Book Discussion GroupThe book discussion group for 4th and 5th graders and their parent/caregiver will meet on Wednesday February 17th at 4:00 pm. Each month we meet to discuss a book we have all read that is chosen by the children’s librarian. Come join in the fun. Please call 949-3630 x2 for more information

LEGO ClubDo you like to build with LEGO’s? Drop by the library anytime from 11:00 – 12:30 on Saturday February 13th to build and share your creations with other kids who are crazy about LEGO’s. This program is for children ages 4- 10 and their parent/caregiver.

Make it Take it CraftDrop by the children’s room on Monday February 8th from 4:00 – 6:00 pm to make a festive Chi-nese New Year craft celebrating the Year of the Monkey!

for you and your child!

February 28th is National Pancake Day. Yum!
