Minutes from Bush IAH and only 22 miles from Houston’s port, North Houston District is strategically positioned to provide local, regional and global access.

The District’s 12-square-mile service area has 20 million square feet of office, retail and industrial properties and is located at the intersection of Interstate 45 North and the North Sam Houston Parkway.

It is bordered by the Hardy Toll Road to the east, Airtex Boulevard/Drive to the north, Veterans Memorial to the west and West Road to the south.

The area has exceptional broadband infrastructure and land available for new development and redevelopment. Energy, Logistics, Technology and Manufacturing are a few of the industries represented in the area.

The 971-acre industrial park, located at the southwest corner of Beltway 8 and Interstate 45, is quickly expanding and has other major tenants like Alfa Laval, Cambria, HD Supply Facilities Maintenance

and Red Bull.

EducationNorth Houston District students are serviced by Aldine and Spring ISDs. Aldine ISD is one of the largest school districts in Texas with over 70,000 students, and has won a variety of awards for student achievement. A smaller portion of the District is also serviced by Spring ISD. Spring serves nearly 37,000 students at its 38 campuses. In 2016, voters approved a $330 million bond referendum to address updates throughout the district.

The 46-mile Greens Bayou watershed runs through the heart of the community and has provided opportunities for the development of parks and trails. The area has 45 acres of park land and 4 miles of trails. Thirty-six acres have been developed into seven area parks, including the largest skate park in North America, North Houston Skate Park.

In 2018, a new bike park is scheduled to open that will feature a world-class BMX race track and event center that can seat approximately 3,500 people. With 68 apartment communities and a population with a median age of 26, addressing recreational needs is an important factor in achieving balance in the blended community.
