FEATURES:

– environmentally clean product, contains zero artificial components in its core;

– the wear layer is 7 mm thick, which allows to sand the surface up to 5-6 times;

– beautifully expresses the versatility and richness of natural wood texture;

– ensures excellent heat- and sound insulation;

– strengthens structural soundness of flooring surface.

Manufactured of solid hardwood, flooring planks are sensitive to humidity and as a result seasonal fluctuations in plank size are possible. After installation during dry winters small gaps may appear between the planks, but will close down during humid summer. In order to prevent the seasonal gaps, it is recommended to maintain relative indoor humidity levels at 45-55% throughout the year.

INSTALLATION:

Solid hardwood flooring can be installed on or above ground level, by glue down or staple down to wooden subfloor. For glue down installation of long and wide planks, it is neces-sary to use staples or nails for pulling and securing planks to the subfloor and one to another.

3-LAYER SINGLE STRIP FLOORING CosLoc 5G

FEATURES:

– 3 layer construction with cross-laid interconnected middle core flooring is much less shrinks and expands at humidity variation and has wider range of applications in compare to solid flooring;– birch is used for middle core and base lamella. Base lamella has increased thickness of 3 mm. This helps due to better symmetry to enhance internal balance of hardwood planks and reduce twisting or warping;

Character grade is used to classify wide plank flooring 190mm; due to larger surface area, face of plank may contain a wide range and number of burls, streaks, knots, worm holes etc.

Select and Better is the highest grade of hardwood. It has uniform grain texture, mild color variations are produced by differences in natural heartwood and sapwood. Occasional non-contrasting restored knots (10mm or smaller) are admitted on planks stained in dark colors as long as they do not stand out against the floor surface.
