Glasgow / Barren County Visions showcases all the good things that make Glasgow and Barren County a great place to live, work, and play.
The publication will be used over the next year to promote and advertise our community to prospective business and industry. It will be used to show tourists and other visitors all that Barren County has to offer as they make their travel plans. Potential new residents will see it as a window into this community as they consider relocating here. The Chamber will use it for information requests.
This high quality full color printed publication will have appealing graphic design with engaging stories, striking photography, and the vital information that show pride in Glasgow and Barren County. A B2B directory of Chamber membership is also a feature of the piece.
Glasgow / Barren County Visions is a collaboration between the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce and Gerald Printing. The magazine will be printed and distributed in October 2020. A digital version of the magazine will be also be hosted online with the ability to be distributed electronically.
As we tell the story of Glasgow and Barren County to business prospects, make sure that your business is part of that story. As the world comes out of hibernation and gets back to business, don’t miss the opportunity to put your organization in front of key audiences. Dear Chamber Member,
A long and rich tradition has been built through the publication of the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce annual magazine for over 20 years. Indeed, during those past decades, the Chamber magazine has taken many different titles and themes, including: IMAGES, LIVABILITY and ILLUMINATED.
This year’s publication has taken a different journey from years past. The obvious challenge of the ages has been the Covid-19 pandemic which has changed our lives and set a new paradigm for society, worldwide. Locally, the citizens of Glasgow and Barren County have adapted and decided that life must go forward, even if drastic changes must be made (masks, social distancing, constant hand washing and sanitizing). The Chamber feels that once the pandemic is over, the community and its economy will rally to a more robust condition than ever before.
In anticipation of better times to come, The Chamber’s Magazine Committee agreed that Editor Sam Terry’s suggestion for the new title of our magazine is “spot-on”. That new title is VISIONS. The new title fits our community with the vision of expectation and success that surely will come when things return to normal.
With the help of our new Publisher, Gerald Printing, the new Glasgow / Barren County Visions magazine will feature many sectors and dynamics of our community, ranging from stories about quality of life and civic information to the Barren County Profile which tells the statistics of the area.
The Glasgow / Barren County Visions will serve the community as a source of entertainment, marketing and statistics. In addition, the Chamber reaps a portion of every ad sold by the Gerald Printing staff along with the Chamber’s staff.
These sales comprise a tool which helps the Chamber to facilitate its many projects and events, all of which make our community a better place.

All ads must be paid at time of order or no later than September 18 or they will not be included in the publication.
Magazine will be distributed in October 2020.
A digital version of the magazine will be provided to the Glasgow-Barren County Economic Authority, Glasgow-Barren County Tourist & Convention Commission, and Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce partners to distribute electronically as needed. The magazine will also be hosted online on the Chamber of Commerce website.

This advertising agreement does not constitute an endorsement by the Chamber or Gerald Printing. We reserve the right to reject any advertising or copy that we deem may be offensive or is contrary to the mission of the magazine.
