country. Students will be able to
identify the differences and
similarities between both of the
political parties.

students into important figures in
political parties. Students will
conduct research to collect
information on an important political
party figure and be able to give a
short report about the person.

plan on politics. The students will
be dressed up as the important
political figure that they
researched early on in the unit
plan and be able to give a short
presentation on who they are
dressed as, their political affiliation
and what change (if any) they have
influenced.
