When arriving at Turku you will get a food lover’s card - The Turku Food Walk card - which will lead you straight to the heart of the city’s restaurant culture. The route along the beautiful banks of the River Aura takes you to authenti-cally local restaurants. The card is valid during your whole stay in Turku. Pop into the Market Hall full of atmosphere and find souvenirs and tasty local products. The city has a compact size and easy walking distance for exploring the exciting mixture of old and new. A large part of city life – main sights, restaurants and shops – is concentrated around the banks of the River Aura – the heart and soul of Turku. Turku is also a must visit place for foodies. After breakfast you head towards Pargas and the Archipelago. On the way you can visit Sattmark Café for lunch or coffee, they also have an idyllic boutique. There is one ferry from Pargas to Nagu, going every 15min. You drive through Nagu village centre. It is worth it to have a stop there: sense the archipelagian atmosphere, have a lunch at one of the beach boulevard’s many restaurant terraces or buy local food to go. After wander-ing around you can continue towards Korpo, there is a ferry going between Nagu and Korpo every 15min. In Korpo island you just drive around 2km and you will be at Hotel Nestor. You can take it easy before having 3 course dinner or 5 course tasting dinner.

The archipelago town Pargas consists of the municipalities Pargas, Nagu, Korpo, Houtskär and Iniö. The Archipelago Sea in the south-western part of Finland consists of about 25 000 islands, islets and skerries, out of all of these about 10 000 lies within the borders of the archipelago town Pargas. You can visit Pargas all year around and experience everything that the archipelago life and -lifestyle has to offer.

After breakfast you start going towards Nauvo and Östern ferry. Earliest ferry goes 08.40am from Nauvo to Hanka (Naantali). From Hanka it’s about 30km way to Naantali old town. After parking your car you are warmly welcome to Visit Naantali office and pick up your Cafe Tour ticket, and useful infor-mation for your visit. Wandering at Naantali old town narrow streets and small boutiques. In Café Tour there are three cafés included so you will have lot to taste today. For the evening time you will have a table at one of the finest restaurants in old town.

Naantali is fifth oldest town in Finland. It is called the sunshine town of the country and a capital for the summer time when the president is having the summer residence here. Old town guest harbour provides lots of different restaurants and terraces for visitors, you can choose from fine dining to cafés. Archipelago atmosphere is everywhere to be found and sensed. Local seafood is served in many places and fishing has been important source of income for the small archipelago villages.

After breakfast in Rauma your trip will continue to Pori and Reposaari Island. Driving time about one hour. On the way to Reposaari it is worthwhile to stop at Yyteri beach, and feel the Finnish coastal nature at best. Reposaari village with old wooden houses just by the sea are an idyllic place to wander and spend a relaxing day. After an tasteful lunch or dinner the tour continues to city centre of Pori. Enjoy the Kirjurinluoto central park and at the end of the day visit the local brewery restaurant and have a self guided small beer tasting of local brewerys (10€ / person/ pay on arrival, taste of 4 local beers).

Pori area is dominated by water – we are close to the sea and the River. Kokemäenjoki runs through the area. The city is known for its festivals like Pori Jazz Festival, the nature, beach holiday destination Yyteri and the family favourite Kirjurinluoto, which is in the heart of the city, as well as for large and small events that bring joy throug¬hout the year. In Pori services are all within walking distance.
