It was great to see new faces in February! What a Great Speaker we had! Kara from Hapi Balance sure showed us a thing or two with the Hula Hoop! She also taught us how to relax and stretch (Gentle Yoga) while we were sitting in our chair! Priceless! Thank you Kara! We also had Deana Strickland come and talk to us about Camp Rae, our Charity for the rest of the year. I know things are tight but I really think there is a real need to help these special needs children get the therapy they need in a more fun way. Please help by bringing your change and dollars to our next meeting or your club ac- tivity. Our 50/50 will also help! I took our check in the amount of $267 to the Cupid Change Celebration. They thanked us so much and I am thanking you for all your help! The Florence Welcoming Club did a great job! I am thinking Spring Cleaning! Now is a good time to go through your house and find some treasures to put in our May auction. It is also the time to start thinking for next year. Anyone interested in leading one of our groups or possibly being on the board? Let one of our board members know as soon as possible. I would like to challenge all of our members to bring a guest to our next meeting. Everyone would like to SAVE MONEY!! Come and listen to how Tracy uses coupons to save money! MAY AUCTION & BAKE SALETuesday, May 1st

It is not too early to be thinking about donations for the May Auction. Gently used items such as household items and décor, plants, jewelry or books usually sell well. The live auction hasbeen the beneficiary of services such as mending, locksmithing, jewelry making and special occasion cake baking. The proceedsfrom this fund raiser allows us to make a donation to theLutheran Church of the Incarnate Word who so graciously lets ususe their meeting room each month for the General Meeting onthe first Tuesday September to May.
