Exhibitors include Retro Green House, chicken coops from the Backyard Farmer, Beelogique Bee Hives, Braun Landscape, floral displays around the Market, and a special floral watercolor display by Joneile Emery (left) at the Inn at the 5th. 2 6 PM | ProStar Acting at Eugene Mindworks (207 E 5th Ave, Suite 220) Linda Burden-Williams gives you an onset film experience from “action” to “cut.” Some of her students from ProStar Acting perform scenes with a small film crew, while monitors show you exactly what the camera and the director see. Also on display: artwork by members of Eugene Mindworks. 3 6:30 PM | Karin Clarke Gallery (760 Willamette St) Eugene painter Carol Marine shows small oil paintings in varied subjects, including portraits of family and friends, still-lives, street scenes, and florals in her first gallery exhibit in 7 years! She is known for her book, her sell-out painting workshops she teaches all over the country, and for making a living as an artist selling online. 4 7 PM | ECO Sleep Solutions and Gallery (25 E 8th Ave) View intricate and beautiful carvings in wood and stone by Cedar Caredio. While a mainstay in the store for the last 5 years, Cedar has continued to develop his talent for transforming the solidity of wood into graceful images of nature. More recently, he has expanded into working with stone and marble. Cedar’s latest pieces exemplify his passion and his ability to create images that pay homage to the source of his inspiration….the natural world around us. 5 7:30 PM | FOOD For Lane County’s The Dining Room (270 W 8th Ave) ArtWalk Highlight! FOOD For Lane County’s 25th Annual Empty Bowls Sale is a fundraiser in which guests can purchase hundreds of unique bowls donated by local artists. Clay artist Frank Gosar is the featured artist for this year’s event. He is a Club Mudd member who has personally donated hundreds of bowls to the sale over many years. Frank’s work is easily recognized by his special glazes and the creatures that appear on his work. 8 The New Zone Gallery (164 W Broadway) “Horizon” by Kate Dolan Jones; “Some Really Great Paintings” by Hans d’Hollosy; and work by a variety of the artists for the “Mind Your Mind” art contest, in which the artists expressed what mental wellness means to them. Music: Eagle Park Slim on guitar.

9 OUT ON A LIMB Gallery (191 E Broadway) “The Flower of Grace,” sculptures by Karen Russo and paintings by Mara Berendt Friedman that spring from an inner current deeply rooted to nature and the feminine. Music: Singer/songwriter Ben Bochner and Patti Lamont, playing Ben’s original music, from 6-8pm.

10 Pacific Rim Art Guild & Gallery (160 E Broadway, basement) “Doorways,” a show in which

members portray what doorways mean to them; and the release of With God Through French Doors by author Annette Cone. Live music provided by a stringed trio.

11 Shadowfox (76 W Broadway) “Animal Spirits,” an expressive series of handmade artwork, depicting the resounding significance of humanity and emotion in the creatures who’s world we share.

12 Vistra Framing & Gallery (160 E Broadway) Acrylic paintings by Shirley Reade, including birds and butterflies, as well as colorful wildlife and water scenes.

13 White Lotus Gallery (767 Willamette St) “Flower Viewing and Fireflies: Images of Spring and Summer in Japanese Prints” through June 25th.

20 Broadway Commerce Center (44 W Broadway) “A Visual History of KWVA Campus Radio: 1993 – Now,” a pop-up show featuring prints created from photographs of the stations walls to commemorate the historic transition of KWVA as it moves into a new studio in the remodeled student union, 5-9pm (lobby); Work from the Architects in Schools program - see special event listing (lobby); Artwork by participants of Oregon Supported Living Program’s Arts and Culture Program (2nd Floor).

21 Eugene Public Library (100 W 10th Ave) “Windows, Passages, and Reflections,” photos by Leola Jewett-Verzuh (2nd floor). Speaker: Reyna Grande, 6:00 pm. The award-winning author speaks as part of the NW Women Writers Symposium, with the 2016 theme “Crossing Borders: Women’s Stories of Immigration, Migration, and Transition.”

22 Eugene Yoga (245 East Broadway) “Passion of Colors,” oil on canvas paintings by Abbas Darabi with the theme of Northwest nature.

23 gilt+gossamer (873 Willamette St)Oil paintings by Megan *M* Ingram, including her series of safari animals, flowers, and a lip collection.

24 Harlequin Beads and Jewelry (1027 Willamette St) Jewelry by local artists. Open until 6pm.

26 The Jazz Station (124 W Broadway) Several local artists have generously donated art for an auction to help raise funds for the venue, including beautiful watercolors, whimsical papier mache sculptures, wonderful music-themed collages, posters of some of the music masters, and much more. Bid at the auction through May 28th. Gallery closes at 7pm. Music: Ben Latorraca/Lyle Hopkins, 5:30-7pm, free; Jessie Marquez, 8-10:30pm, $12 /$9.

27 Mosaic Fair Trade Collection (28 E Broadway) New garden goodies including pretty planters, cheery wind chimes, beautiful birdhouses, gorgeous garden stakes and, as always, fair trade wine tastings!

28 Oregon Art Supply (1020 Pearl St) Owners Robin Irving and Rebecca Mannheimer showcase pieces from their personal collection. Open until 6pm.
