PERATION PRINCIPLES

www.yavuz16.com

Yavuz 16 pistols ore semi-autamaticfirearms operating on the short recoilprlnciple and using a falling blocklocking system. Upon firing, thepressure developed by combustíon gosin the chamber recoíls the slido andbarrel assembly together in a shartdistance. After o short run of slíde-barrel assembly, the locking block fallsand releases the slide letting it recoilwhile the barrel stops against frame.Period of its rearward movement, theslide extracts and ejeds the firedcortridge case, cocks the hammer andcompress the recoil spring. With theforce of recoil spring tense, the slidethen moves forward feeding the nextcartridge from the magazine into thechamber and causing barrel-slidelocking. The slide stays open after thelastcartridge in the magazine has beenfired and ejeded.

CONTROL BEFO RE USE

Set the safety lever "on" (PICTURE1)(in this position red dot on the slide iscompletely invisible).

Be sure Ihat the chomber is emptyand the barrel is free from dirt andobstrudions (PICTURE2). If you do notintend to fire, keep your fingers off thetrigger. Check the loaded chamberindicator (PICTURE3) if it is loaded orunloaded. MC 21, MC 23 and MC23.45 Models don't hove chamber'oaded indicator.

CONTROL AFTER USE

Set the safety lever "en" (PICTURE1)after using the pistol (PICTURE1), makesure tha! the pistol is unloaded(PICTURE 2), the borrel is clear ofobstructions and the magazine isempty. (PICTURE4)

Automatic flrlng pln blockprevents forward movement of thefiring pin unless the trigger iscompletely pulled.

Chambe;' 'oaded Indlcatorindicates the state of the chamber. When a round is chambered, the

extrador head protrudes further fromthe slide breech and exposes a redwarning tab. In the dark, protrusion canalso be felt by touch. This makesunnecessary to pull back the slide toverify if chamber is loaded. MC 21, MC23 ond MC 23.45 models don't hovechamber loaded Indicator.

EASY DISASSEMBLlNG,

Disassembling system is designedfor a quick and easy field stripping andto ovoid casual or involuntaryd isassembly.
