I Know
I John 5:13, “These things have I written unto you that
believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that
ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the
Son of God.” You and I as children of God should be the happiest
people on the face of this earth. Certainly, there are times when our
hearts do become heavy because of some adverse condition that
has occurred; however, those times should only be momentary be-
cause we have a fellowship with the Father and his Son that ena-
bles us to rise above all adversities (I John 1:1-7, I Cor. 1:9, I
John 4:4).
Glory to God that we’ve been delivered from darkness and
redeemed by the blood of Jesus having our sins forgiven (Col. 1:12
-14). John tells us over and over in the book of I John “we know.”
This simply shows confidence in God and in His exceedingly pre-
cious promises to us. Our confidence comes from the Lord. Know-
ing that Christ lives in me (Gal. 2:20), knowing that I am a new
creature (2 Cor. 5:17), knowing that my sins are forgiven (Col.
1:14), I am confident to walk in newness of life (Rom 6:4), know-
ing that God will never leave me nor forsake me (Heb. 13:5). I
know, do you?

It is an honor to have you join us in worship at the
Northside Church of Christ! Our mission is to save
souls and to help souls stay saved. We extend our
sincere love towards you and we encourage you to take
advantage of the opportunity to have a bible study with
members who are eager to study with you. If you do not
share our like faith, this bible study, as well as your visit
today, offers a two way opportunity: (1) We have the
chance to share with you the gospel of Jesus Christ and
the essential steps to salvation. (2) You have the chance
to hear, believe, repent, confess, and be baptized where-
by being added to the Church of Christ. We welcome
you to investigate what you hear and see today. You
will be able to ask your biblical questions and receive
biblical answers that will guide you to make an in-
formed, life changing decision. Thank you for being our
special guest! Please come again.

Did You Tell Someone About Jesus?
Matt. 28:19-20 is the great
commission given to members of
the body of Christ. As Christians,
it is our responsibility to Tell,
Talk and Teach others about
Jesus. Telling someone about
Christ will often open the door to
Talk with them about Him. You
can then Teach them or invite
them to Church where they can be
taught. We encourage each Chris-
tian to take advantage of such
opportunities. If you know of a
prospect, and for some reason
cannot conduct a personal Bible
study, please give their contact
information to Bro. and/or Sis.
Oliver or to one of our Leaders.
Welcome to the Family!!
