MINISTER OF MUSIC God is seen when we find in different occasions in the Bible to "join" for the purpose of worshiping Him (Acts 20:7, 1 Corinthians 14:23,26). He even warns us not fail to come together (Hebrews 10:25). Whenever Christians gather for worship, we must realize that we are gathered to worship God. God wants true worshipers who want to honor him" in spirit and in truth "(John 4:23-24). Not come together to only have a good time. We are to praise God and edify one another. Our acts of worship are important, but nothing is more important than the attitude of our hearts and minds when we engage in these activities. We need to be careful that our public acts of worship does not become a "view" that detracts from the praise of God. Men should not be worshiped, but God. May God bless you ! Nuno

MINISTER OF STUDENTS

We our coming to the end of our year.

Our End-of-the-Year Program for our

infants through 3 year olds went great.

Next up is our Graduation and then

it's time for some summer fun! The

canned food drive was a huge success and all the classes

enjoyed participating. I would like to thank the church

for allowing us to be a part of this ministry. The

teachers truly love these kids and the Lord and they

love reaching out to the families. Thank you again!

God Bless,

Alison

PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR

Church Family, June is finally here and there is much excitement and celebration. Our graduates have finally finished! We certainly wish them well in all things as they follow the Lord. Please pray diligently as these students begin a fantastic new adventure. Also, do not forget to remember the parents during this transition time. This will be difficult for all of us, but the Lord will always watch over His own. Second, we have another fantastic opportunity to partner with another church to reach out to our community in Sebring. A church from

Hello everyone! WOW it is getting hotter and hotter! I didn’t expect anything different though! We knew we would be experiencing the nice Floridian summer at some point! Any way, this month marks our 1 year anniversary here at First Baptist Sebring. June 26 of 2011, was our first official Sunday here at church. We praise God for bringing us here to Sebring, and we truly appreciate all the prayers, love, gifts all of you have given to Sarah, Luca and myself. We pray that the Almighty God keep using us for His glory at His church. Studying for a class a while back, I came across texts about worshiping at the local church. The next two issues of the voice I will talk about it. If you are a Christian, you are part of the Lord’s church. (Acts 2:47). All who are saved are part of this church (Ephesians 5:23). We, as Christians, can gather for worship in a local church. The wisdom of

Jacksonville, FL will join us from June 23-30 in order to spread out across Sebring to minister to others. Sports Camps, Backyard Bible Clubs, Lite home repair, and general outreach will be done during that week. Inspiring messages each night from the FBC Sebring Pastoral staff will also highlight this time. If you are a student that has not signed up yet, please do so quickly. The cost for this week will be extremely minimal for you. I will publish those numbers within the next few weeks so you will have ample opportunity to prepare. Blessings, Joseph Delph
