Sunday, Sept. 7, at 12:49 a.m., Sgt. Pavlicek and Deputy Jasek checked on two vehicles parked under the north river bridge on Hwy. 71. After further investigation, Jose Delores Reyna, 17, of Alleyton and a juvenile were ar- rested for possession of marijuana. Monday, Sept. 8, at 1:52 a.m., Sgt. Pavlicek and Deputy Jasek initiated a traffic stop on Hwy. 90. After further investigation, Joshire Mikela Coleman, 18, of Columbus was arrested for no driver's license. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 2:30 p.m., De- puties LaCourse and Pflughaupt re- sponded to a call concerning a subject assaulting and threatening a complain- ant. After further investigation, Willie Scott Jr., 59, of Glidden was arrested for family violence and terroristic threat. Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 5:45 p.m., Deputy Pflughaupt responded to a call concerning a forgery at Broadway Cit- go on Hwy. 71. After further investi- gation, a warrant was obtained and Tamara Brown, 21, of La Grange was arrested for forgery. At 7:38 p.m., Deputy Girndt re- sponded to a call about a disturbance on the northservice road, 1/2 mile east of FM 2761. An investigation was con- ducted and Tammie Dawn Hambrick, 38, of Galveston was arrested for fam- ily violence assault Class C. Thursday, Sept. 11, at 12:30 a.m., Sgt. Edman initiated a traffic stop on FM 949. After further investigation, Alan George Heskamp, 45, of El Cam- po was arrested for driving while in- toxicated. Friday, Sept. 12, a 10:57 p.m., Deputy Girndt initiated a traffic stop on Walnut St. After further investiga- tion, Francisco P. Velazquez, 29, of Co- lumbus was arrested for driving while intoxicated; Jose Luis Pena Velazquez, 23, of Columbus was arrested for pub- lic intoxication. At 11:02 p.m., Sgt. Edman initiated a traffic stop on FM 3013 west and Hunt Rd. After further investigation, Sterling Thompson Jr., 37, of Sealy was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Saturday, Sept. 13, at 11:40 p.m., Sgt. Edman initiated a traffic stop on FM 950 and FM 2614. After further investigation, Bruno Delfino Moreida, 32, of Eagle Lake was arrested for driv- ing while license suspended. At 11:57 p.m., Deputy Clark re- sponded to a call concerning a family disturbance in New Ulm. After further investigation, Thomas Earl Kubicek, 39, of New Ulm was arrested for as- sault by contact. Sunday, Sept. 14, at 1:38 a.m., Dep- uty Green responded to a call concern- ing a reckless driver on Hwy. 71 south. The vehicle and driver were located at a gravel pit. After further investigation, Joe Luis Garcia, 39, of Wharton was arrested for public intoxication. . Monday, Sept. 15, at 10:25 a.m., Deputy Head responded to a call con- cerning criminal mischief on Hwy. 90. After further investigation, Michael Lee Anderson, 23, of Oklahoma was arrested for criminal mischief. While obtaining witness statements, it was determined that one of the witnesses had an outstanding warrant. Marvin Avant, 30, of Oklahoma was arrested for parole violation. The Eagle Lake Police Depart- ment (ELPD) reported the following calls and case for the period ending Oct. 7. Sept. 30, at 1:35 p.m., Chief W.E. Lattimore, Investigator David Wiese and Officer Charles Cole were dis- patched to the 6000 block of Hwy. 90A in regards to the welfare of a subject. The subject was located and turned over to Colorado County Sheriff's De- puty (CCSD) Head since the subject was located outside the city limits. At 3:49 p.m., Lt. Wendy Thomp- son and Investigator Wiese were dis- patched to the Colorado County Juve- nile Detention Center in regards to an injured inmate. The injury was found to be accidental. Medic 3 transported the inmate to Rice Medical Center (RMC). At 5:20 p.m., Chief Lattimore met with a citizen at the PD in regards to a civil matter. Information was received. At 6:24 p.m., Officer Arnold Ter- razas was dispatched to the 1100 block of E. Main St. in regards to an activated business alarm. The building was found to be secure. At 7:30 p.m., a subject in regards to a civil matter contacted Sgt. Bryan Lasley at the PD. Information was re- ceived. At 8:20 p.m., Officer Terrazas and Sgt. Lasley were dispatched to the 500 block of S. Lake Ave. in regards to an unwanted subject. The subject left upon the officers' arrival. Oct. 1, at 4:13 a.m., Officer Terra- zas was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Prairie St. in reference to a gate be- ing open. Information was received. At 2:35 p.m., Sgt. Steve Nelson was dispatched to the 600 block of Melody Lane to assist the Colorado County Sheriff's Dept. with warrant service. At 6:59 p.m., Officer Justin Alde- rete was dispatched to the PD in refer- ence to a past assault. A report was taken; the case is under investigation. At 7 p.m., Officer Alderete was flagged down in the 1000 block of E. Main St. in reference to a civil matter. Information was received. At 7:18 p.m., Sgt. Nelson was dis- patched to the 1000 block of E. Main St. in reference to an activated alarm. The building was found to be secure at ground level. At 7:30 p.m., Sgt. Nelson was dis- patched to the 1300 block of Murphy St. in reference to a disturbance. The matter was resolved at the scene. Oct. 2, at 6:45 a.m., Officer John Sebastian was dispatched to the 400 block of Church St. in reference to a runaway juvenile. A report was taken. The juvenile later returned home. At 7:33 a.m., Officer Sebastian was dispatched to the 600 block of Mc Creary St. in reference to a past assault. Alejandro Martinez later turned him- self in to Chief Lattimore. Martinez was charged with burglary of a habita- tion with the intent to commit an as- sault, a second-degree felony. He was processed at the PD and transported to the Colorado County Detention Cen- ter (CCDC) for confinement. At 5:12 p.m., Officer Sebastian was dispatched to the 500 block of E. Union St. in reference to 9-1-1 hang-ups. All was found to be in order. Several small children were instructed in the Use of the 9-1-1 system. At 7 p.m., Officer Alderete was flagged down in the 500 block of E. Union St. in reference to a past theft. Officer Alderete located the suspect, the gas was paid for. At 7:15 p.m., Officer Alderete was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Main St. in reference to activated alarm. At 8:37 p.m., Officer Alderete was dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Main St. in reference to activated alarm. The building was checked and found to be secure at ground level. Oct. 3, at 12:20 a.m., Officer Alde- rete located an unlocked door in the 100 block of N. McCarty. The build- ing was checked and all was found to be in order. Chief Lattimore later made contact with a responsible party and the building was secured. At 8:50 a.m., Investigator Wiese was contacted at the PD in regards to possible identity theft. Case open for investigation. At 12:15 p.m., Officer Cole, Inves- tigator Wiese and Chief Lattimore ar- rested Manuel and Christine Cobia on outstanding warrants. Both were pro- cessed at the PD, then transported to the CCDC for confinement. At 3:43 p.m., Officer Cole was con- tacted at the PD in regards to unautho- rized use of a motor vehicle. The inci- dent did not occur in Eagle Lake. The complainant was referred to the proper agency to report the matter. Oct. 4, at 1 a.m., Sgt. Lasley was dispatched to check on a suspicious vehicle just outside the city limits on FM 102 north. The vehicle was located and the driver identified. All was found to be in order. At 3:50 a.m., Officer Terrazas was dispatched to the 600 block of Melody Lane in regards to a disturbance. Tam- my Payne was arrested for assault fam- ily violence. Payne was processed at the PD and transported to the CCDC for confinement. At 7:25 a.m., Officer Cole met with a subject at the PD in regards to a fol- low-up investigation. Information was received. At 10:10 a.m., Officer Cole was dis- patched to the 300 block of W Waverly St. in regards to a possible gunshot. Cole spoke to residents in the area who said they heard the noise but the source was not located. At 11:45 a.m., Officer Cole met with a subject at the PD in regards to a warrant payment At 3:45 p.m., Officer Cole and Sgt. Lasley were dispatched to the 600 block of W. Union St. in regards to a disturbance. The matter was settled at the scene. At 4:30 p.m., Sgt. Lasley accom- panied a subject to the 200 block of W. Prairie St. in regards to a court ordered civil standby. At 4:47 p.m., Officer Cole was dis- patched to the city limits on Hwy. 90A in regards to a possible intoxicated dri- ver coming into town. A CCSD deputy later located the vehicle outside the city limits. The driver was not intoxicated. At 11:35 p.m., Officer Terrazas ini- tiated a traffic stop in the 300 block of Beaks Ave. Leonard Sims was arrested for outstanding Wharton County war- rants. He was processed at the PD and transported to CCDC for confinement. Oct. 5, at 3 a.m., Officer Terrazas was called to the PD in regards to ques- tions concerning a protective order. Information was received. At 10:47 a.m., Officer Cole was dispatched to RMC in regards to a dog bite victim. Information was received. At 11:02 a.m., Officer Cole was dis- patched to 500 block of Westmoreland St. in regards to a suspicious subject. Cole located and identified the subject who gave an account of his actions. At 12:42 p.m., Officer Cole was dispatched to 100 block of S. McCarty Ave. in regards to criminal mischief. Information was received. At 12:53 p.m., Officer Cole was dispatched to 1200 block of E. State St. in regards to criminal mischief. In- formation was received. At 3:39 p.m., Officer Cole was dis- patched to 100 block of Justin Way in regards to a 9-1-1 hang up from the payphone. No caller was located. At 5:40 p.m., Officer Terrazas was dispatched to the 300 block of West A St. in regards to a 9-1-1 hangup. He made contact with a resident who ad- vised they had dialed the number by mistake. Oct. 6, at 12:08 a.m., Officer Ter- razas and Sgt. Lasley were dispatched to Buc-ee's in regards to a disturbance. Upon the officers' arrival, one of the parties had left the scene. Information was received. At 2:50 a.m., Officer Terrazas was dispatched to the FM 3013 Place Apart- ments in regards to a possibly burglary. Case open for investigation. At 8:40 p.m., Officer Alderete was dispatched to the FM 3013 Place Apart- ments in regards to a 9-1-1 hang up from the payphone. Several children in the area were advised as to the proper use of the 9-1-1 system. At 9:33 p.m., Officer Alderete was dispatched to the 100 block of Boothe Dr. in regards to a 9-1-1 hang up from the payphone. He spoke several people in the area but no one admitted seeing anyone using the phone. At 10:40 p.m., Sgt. Lasley and Of- ficer Alderete were dispatched to the 500 block of Keith St. in regards to a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located, detained briefly and then re- leased to the mother. At 11:20 p.m., Officer Alderete was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Prai- rie St. in regards to suspicious noises. He checked the area but could not find any noises. Oct. 7, at 12:30 am, Officer Alde- rete was dispatched to a fight at the rail- road tracks near Prairie St. and FM 3013. He was unable to locate any combatants. At 4:49 a.m., Officer Alderete ini- tiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of S. McCarty Ave. Ramona Garay was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Garay was processed at the PD and transported to the CCDC for confinement. At 8:01 a.m., Officer Sebastian was dispatched to the 400 block of Church St. in regards to a runaway juvenile. Case open for investigation. At 9:35 a.m., Chief Lattimore, In- vestigator Wiese and Lt. Thompson were dispatched to the 300 block of Strickland in regards to strange noises inside a residence. dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Main St. in reference to activated alarm. The building was checked and found to be secure at ground level.

Oct. 3, at 12:20 a.m., Officer Alde- rete located an unlocked door in the 100 block of N. McCarty. The build- ing was checked and all was found to be in order. Chief Lattimore later made contact with a responsible party and the building was secured.

At 8:50 a.m., Investigator Wiese was contacted at the PD in regards to possible identity theft. Case open for investigation.

At 12:15 p.m., Officer Cole, Inves- tigator Wiese and Chief Lattimore ar- rested Manuel and Christine Cobia on outstanding warrants. Both were pro- cessed at the PD, then transported to the CCDC for confinement.

At 3:43 p.m., Officer Cole was con- tacted at the PD in regards to unautho- rized use of a motor vehicle. The inci- dent did not occur in Eagle Lake. The complainant was referred to the proper agency to report the matter.

Oct. 4, at 1 a.m., Sgt. Lasley was dispatched to check on a suspicious vehicle just outside the city limits on FM 102 north. The vehicle was located and the driver identified. All was found to be in order.

At 3:50 a.m., Officer Terrazas was dispatched to the 600 block of Melody Lane in regards to a disturbance. Tam- my Payne was arrested for assault fam- ily violence. Payne was processed at the PD and transported to the CCDC for confinement.

At 7:25 a.m., Officer Cole met with a subject at the PD in regards to a fol- low-up investigation. Information was received.

At 10:10 a.m., Officer Cole was dis- patched to the 300 block of W Waverly St. in regards to a possible gunshot. Cole spoke to residents in the area who said they heard the noise but the source was not located.

At 11:45 a.m., Officer Cole met with a subject at the PD in regards to a warrant payment

At 3:45 p.m., Officer Cole and Sgt. Lasley were dispatched to the 600 block of W. Union St. in regards to a disturbance. The matter was settled at the scene.

At 4:30 p.m., Sgt. Lasley accom- panied a subject to the 200 block of W. Prairie St. in regards to a court ordered civil standby.

At 4:47 p.m., Officer Cole was dis- patched to the city limits on Hwy. 90A in regards to a possible intoxicated dri- ver coming into town. A CCSD deputy later located the vehicle outside the city limits. The driver was not intoxicated.

At 11:35 p.m., Officer Terrazas ini- tiated a traffic stop in the 300 block of Beaks Ave. Leonard Sims was arrested for outstanding Wharton County war- rants. He was processed at the PD and

transported to CCDC for confinement. Oct. 5, at 3 a.m., Officer Terrazas

was called to the PD in regards to ques- tions concerning a protective order. Information was received.

At 10:47 a.m., Officer Cole was dispatched to RMC in regards to a dog bite victim. Information was received.

At 11:02 a.m., Officer Cole was dis- patched to 500 block of Westmoreland St. in regards to a suspicious subject. Cole located and identified the subject who gave an account of his actions.

At 12:42 p.m., Officer Cole was dispatched to 100 block of S. McCarty Ave. in regards to criminal mischief. Information was received.

At 12:53 p.m., Officer Cole was dispatched to 1200 block of E. State St. in regards to criminal mischief. In- formation was received.

At 3:39 p.m., Officer Cole was dis- patched to 100 block of Justin Way in regards to a 9-1-1 hang up from the payphone. No caller was located.

At 5:40 p.m., Officer Terrazas was dispatched to the 300 block of West A St. in regards to a 9-1-1 hangup. He made contact with a resident who ad- vised they had dialed the number by mistake.

Oct. 6, at 12:08 a.m., Officer Ter- razas and Sgt. Lasley were dispatched to Buc-ee's in regards to a disturbance. Upon the officers' arrival, one of the parties had left the scene. Information was received.

At 2:50 a.m., Officer Terrazas was dispatched to the FM 3013 Place Apart- ments in regards to a possibly burglary. Case open for investigation.

At 8:40 p.m., Officer Alderete was dispatched to the FM 3013 Place Apart-

ments in regards to a 9-1-1 hang up from the payphone. Several children in the area were advised as to the proper use of the 9-1-1 system.

At 9:33 p.m., Officer Alderete was dispatched to the 100 block of Boothe Dr. in regards to a 9-1-1 hang up from the payphone. He spoke several people in the area but no one admitted seeing anyone using the phone.

At 10:40 p.m., Sgt. Lasley and Of- ficer Alderete were dispatched to the 500 block of Keith St. in regards to a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located, detained briefly and then re- leased to the mother.

At 11:20 p.m., Officer Alderete was dispatched to the 400 block of E. Prai- rie St. in regards to suspicious noises. He checked the area but could not find any noises.

Oct. 7, at 12:30 am, Officer Alde- rete was dispatched to a fight at the rail- road tracks near Prairie St. and FM 3013. He was unable to locate any combatants.

At 4:49 a.m., Officer Alderete ini- tiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of S. McCarty Ave. Ramona Garay was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Garay was processed at the PD and transported to the CCDC for confinement.

At 8:01 a.m., Officer Sebastian was dispatched to the 400 block of Church St. in regards to a runaway juvenile. Case open for investigation.

At 9:35 a.m., Chief Lattimore, In- vestigator Wiese and Lt. Thompson were dispatched to the 300 block of Strickland in regards to strange noises inside a residence. The residence was checked. All was found to be in order.
