One of Needham’s leading realestate agencies, PrudentialAdvantage Real Estate, is proud toannounce their affiliation withMove for Hunger, a national non-profit organization. Together, theyare making the move to work withclients and town residents to collectunopened non-perishable foodduring the moving process, and getit into the hands of families whoneed it. Real Estate agencies workwith local moving companies toensure that donated food gets toFood Banks all over the U.S.To kick off the partnership,

Prudential Advantage Real Estate istaking action. On June 1 from 10a.m.-2 p.m., the Needham StreetFair will also be the site of a townwide food drive to benefit theNeedham Community CouncilFood Pantry. All non-perishablefood donations can be brought to the

Prudential Advantage Booth or theMark’s Moving and Storage Truckthat will be located on site. Donations to support the fight

against hunger during the holidayseason are usually very generous, but very few people realize that thesummer months are when most foodbank shelves are the emptiest. Toaddress this immediate need,

Prudential Advantage and Mark’sMoving and Storage, also a newpartner with Move For Hunger, aretaking action to make a difference. Prudential Advantage and Mark’s

Moving and Storage have onespecific goal: fill an entire movingtruck with as much shelf-stable foodas possible in those 4 hours. All of the collected product will

benefit local families who rely onthe food pantry for assistance. While all food donations arewelcome, the most needed items arelisted on the Needham CommuityCouncil website, www.NeedhamCommunityCouncil.org.“It’s just amazing to see partners

from opposite sides of the relocationindustry come together to fighthunger,” says Adam Lowy,Executive Director of Move ForHunger. “We love to see our realestate agents and movers teamingup to make a difference for the lessfortunate of their community.”
