• T.I.P.S. cards are in! If you took the T.I.P.S. course in June to be able to serve alcohol at the County Fair, the cards are behind the bar. Ask the bartender next time you’re in to get your card.

• We’re looking for members to volunteer to cook Friday Night Dinners this fall. Dinners bring in members, and we are looking for some volunteers to help put a few nights together. You pick your meal, the Lodge buys the ingredients, and you get to show off your culinary chops. Contact Val with questions. Visit our SignUp page to sign up. It’s fun...we promise!

• It’s that time of year...Bingo has started and we need volunteers! Contact Kathleen with questions, or visit our SignUp page to volunteer.

• Our Community Thanksgiving is just around the corner! Val is heading up the committee, and you can visit our SignUp page to see what shifts are available. We need help the week of and day of Thanksgiving. Contact Val with questions [email protected]

• November is Veterans Month for the Elks. We are having a dinner on 11/8 6p to 8p that is free for all veterans. Everyone is invited, though, to honor those that served our country. Contact Donnie Rodgers if you want to know more about Veterans Month activities.

• Our annual Elks Hoop Shoot will be here before you know it. If you are interested in helping to plan this fun youth event, contact Jessica at [email protected] for more info. Keep an eye on our SignUp page for volunteer opportunities!

Jackson Hole Elks Lodge No. 1713

@JacksonHoleElks

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks

was founded in 1868 to promote and prac-

tice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Jus-

tice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity; to promote

the welfare and enhance the happiness of

its members; to quicken the spirit of Ameri-

can Patriotism and cultivate good fellow-

ship.

Today the Elks are a fraternal order of nearly

one million members with a network of more

than 2,000 lodges in communities across

the country. Annually the Order spends

more than $80,000,000 for benevolent, edu-

cational, and patriotic community-minded

programs.

Jackson Hole Elks Lodge No. 1713 was char-

tered on July 17th, 1947 and has been serv-

ing the community through the four cardinal

virtues of the B.P.O.E. for over 70 years.
