Nov 17 Presbytery Meeting
Clerks of Session are reminded that 2015 minutes are due to be reviewed during 2016
Minutes are reviewed alphabetically by church name at Presbytery meetings The 2015 minutes for churches beginning with the letters D-H are scheduled for review at the November 17 2016 meeting However minutes may be submitted for review at any time
Minutes submitted for review at the Presbytery meeting should be picked up at the end of the meeting Picking up minutes saves the Presbytery the expense of mailing them
Churches are reminded that they should submit a com-pleted ldquoSession Records Review Formrdquo with the Min-utes The form is available online at wwwpeakspresbyteryorg (Click on ldquoResourcesrdquo then click on ldquoForms amp Documentsrdquo then click on ldquoSession Recordsrdquo to locate the form)

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburgs Hospice and Home Health Division is seeking a part-time Hospice Spiritual Care CounselorChaplain Complete timely spiritual assessment and initiation of appropriate services for patients and familiescaregivers in the hospice program provide direct spiritual care to patients and familiescaregivers Serve as a liaison and support to community chaplains and spiritual counselors Recruit community chaplains
spiritual counselors and spiritual care volunteers Provide for funeral or Memorial Services for patients as requested
Position requirements include
Graduation from an accredited seminary or school of theol-
ogy
Prefer ordained minister in good status with the denomination
from which heshe was ordained without restriction or subject to any disciplinary or corrective action
Must be able to read write and understand the English Lan-
guage
2 years experience counseling or working with individuals
families and caregivers related to death and dying
Knowledge of hospice programs required
Computer experience with Windows based programs required

current Director meeting attending rehearsals leading and
getting to know the choir in November December 2016 prior

About the Position
The Director of Choirs is a part-time position which reports to
SAPC Head of Staff
The primary responsibility will be the direction of the Chancel
Choir at the 1100 service and other choirs as specified in the
Job Description [The Jubilee Service (900 am) has its own mu-
sic and worship team and additional oversight does not fall un-
der this position]
