DE S CRIP T ION
Plass - the name is a synthesis of “plastic” and “glass” – interprets the millennia-oldartisan tradition of glass making, in the light of a contemporary process andmaterial: rotationally-moulded transparent polycarbonate. Thanks to thistechnology, which is not yet widely used in the lighting sector, the nishes are notcold and impersonal, but feature slight irregularities, highlighted by the lightsource, as in handmade glass. The colours chosen for the di user – aquamarineand grey – are inspired by Murano glass and venetian craftsmanship. As well asevoking an atmosphere and an emotion, the color helps de ne the shape of thelamp, highlighting the thickness of the incisions on its surface. Suspendedbetween memory and modernity, Plass characterises large spaces, including highones, alone or in multiple compositions.

The large transparent polycarbonate di user is achieved using rotationalmoulding, a technique which makes it possible to create hollow bodies of geblackus sizes without the need for any welding.Brushed aluminum internal mount, stainless steel suspension cable and transparent electrical cable.
