St. MuerteSanta Muertre or Saint of Death is a sacred feminine folk saint. She is seen most commonly on the Mexican Day of the Dead, to remind us of our own mortality. Death was personified in Aztec and other cultures in the form of humans with half their flesh missing, symbolizing the duality of life and death. Morbidity is an inevitable of our existence and we must realize our purpose and appreciate the beauty of life. This collection shows the parallax between the beautiful purpose of life and the morbidity of our future.

Tarte cosmetics-Good for you, Good for the environment. Sustainable reusable cradle to cradle design is an important goal in all my designs. Organic shapes used to incorporate all natural feel. Process included, brand analysis, competition analysis, consumer profile, die lines, ideations, and concept boards.

Prototype: Collection

Started in our CEO’s apartment in 1999. Formulated without parabens, ptathalates, & synthetic fragrances. We use only all natural ingredients with recyclable packaging. With every tarte purchase, a portion is given to the Sustainable Amazon Partnership (SAP). Proving that glamour can be good for you.

BronzerFor a more contoured look, brush bronzer onto hollows of  cheeks, temples, and sides of  the nose.  For an allover flush of  color, lightly brush bronzer over your face and neck.

LipstickFor a finish that lasts all day, blot on lipstick with brush or apply straight to lips, blot with tissue and reapply.  Repeat until desired look.  Always start with a moisturizing balm.

MascaraCurl lashes with our 12-Hour curler.  Apply 1-3 coats until desired look.

Mascara:Blackest BlackOur 12-hour wear mascara is 100% vegan and cruelty free. Made of  all natural ingredients and recyclable packaging.
