• The Malaysian Federation for Occupational Safety and Health consists of memberships from the Organization/Association/Society in Malaysia engaged in activities related to the promotion and enhancement of occupational safety and health (OSH) practices.

SCOPE

• The activities of the Federation shall cover the States of Malaysia and internationally.

• With the approval of the Registrar of Societies, the Federation may establish State Branches within Malaysia

OBJECTIVE

The Main Objective of the Federation is to be a catalyst to unite the OSH NGOs



Specific objective

• To assist DOSH in the development of National Level OSH standards or guidelines and providing technical advice.

• To serve as a centre of information to disseminate all latest OSH information to the members.

• To have one strong voice representing all OSH NGOs to influence the Government, Stakeholders and other relevant parties.

MEMBERSHIP

• The criteria to be members of MyFOSH shall be OSH related NGOs registered with ROS.

• All applications to be a member shall be approved in the Management Committee (Office Bearers and Exco) meeting and agreed by two third (2/3) of the Management Committee members

• Under OSH Master Plan 2020, Ergonomics had been one of the agenda of DOSH (Agenda 4 of Malaysian improvement of Safety and Health in Malaysia).

• HFEM had been appointed as one the technical committee members in the program.

• HFEM had reported program that had been conducted in 2017 related to ergonomics. HFEM participated in two meeting namely in DOSH Negeri Sembilan and UPM.

• UPM and HFEM conducted a competition on developing YouTube videoclip and ergonomics awareness among University student.

• 1978 : The Association of Health Inspectors Malaysia (AHIM) was registered

• 1985 : AHIM was affiliated to the International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH) since its inception at Bournemouth UK, on 25 September.

• 1989 AHIM was registered as the Malaysian Association of Health Inspectors (MAHIR).

Established on 1st of September 2009, NRG-SHE has emerged as a key partner in OSH programs implementation, specifically in the Northern Region. MOSHPA sits on the National Council for

Occupational Safety & Health (NCOSH) of

Malaysia.

ESTABLISHMENT :

MOSHPA was registered under the

Malaysian Societies Act 1966,

Regulations 1984 on the 31st of May

1997. Since its establishment,

various activities and programs

related to Safety Health have been

carried out benefiting its members,

the employers and the employees in

our country.

MOSHPA is a full member of Asia Pacific Occupational Safety & Health

Organization (APOSHO), a body comprising of Safety & Health Organizations

from Asia Pacific region.

Malaysian Occupational Safety Association (MOSA) Presiden is initially not only

in the country but in the region as well. We have gained significant ground with

our vital crusade to raise safety standards, fortify skills training, set up steps to

convey the most elevated amounts of scaffolding competence and broaden

our inventive free review procedure to ensure product and service quality.

As our enrollment has developed plainly we're making a business system that enables platform

temporary workers of all sizes to convey professional services and improve the safety, and

focused nature of the entire business. The wellbeing and prosperity of the workforce is our main

need. Our vision is one of working environments that are incident and injury free, where

everybody returns home securely. The Association proceeds with work with designers, clients

of world class Training in the utilization of scaffolding.

to help organizations in extending their services and capacities securely and productively. By having such

a wide scope of members that incorporate customers, erectors, architects, and wellbeing and safety

experts, we have possessed the capacity to help with making new open doors that enable our members
