Shrink Boot Installation: Grab Your Gun and Your Boots!

Ordinary heat gun is best tool for the job

The part should be seated (heated) at the connector end first and recovered back to the cable.

Not difficult to perform but training is needed.

Adhesive parts must be heated longer to activate the adhesive.

Heat guns at high temperature can scorch the outside of the part…so proper use of the tool is important.
