The Men's Shmiras HaLashon Chabura invites you to join them for the ongoing examination of the laws of proper speech. Sundays, after the 8am minyan, Classroom 1. Shmiras HaLashon: It's a life changer.
Once again a large quantity of outer wear, winter clothing, hats, umbrellas, sweaters etc have been left at the shul. We have placed them all in the front coat room along the wall. Please see if they belong to you. Any clothing not claimed by August 14th will be considered ownerless and will be donated to charity.

Community Notes Halfway to Sinai will be open again this summer from Shavuos
through Shabbos Parshas B'reishis. If you are walking to Sinai Hospital, Levindale or any other distant destination, you can rest your feet and have a cold drink on the porch at 3000 Glen Avenue (corner Key Ave.) or 5932 Cross Country Blvd (corner Simmonds Ave.) For further information, please call 410-299-5921.
Mei Miriam, in memory of Rebbitzen Miriam Lowenbraun, A”H, is back for a second season beginning this Shabbos and continuing through the summer months. Cold water bottles will be provided to pedestrians on Shabbosim when temperatures reach 85 degrees or higher. Check the shul’s bulletin board for a poster indicating host locations.
Please drop off any new school supplies in the designated box in the shul coat room for the Dovid Gutman a”h, School Supply Discretionary Project. This project distributes school supplies to families in need within our community.

Job Summary: Performs a variety of duties relating to handling, preparing, storing, and serving Kosher meals to assure compliance with Jewish dietary laws. Checks invoices for products received, instructs personnel in proper procedures for food handling, transfers food trucks to and from Kosher Kitchen and Dining Rooms, etc. Requirements: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma or GED equivalent. New Lockers for Taliesim and Tefilin
The shul is currently exploring the possibility of installing lockers with combination locks. If there is enough interest and the project progresses, they will each be available for $360 for lifetime use which will include a name plate, or $50 for a yearly rental. If you would be interested in getting a locker, please email Mayer Kohen, [email protected].
As you may have noticed, our new coffee room also offers filtered cold and hot water. This dispenser costs the Shul $25.00 per month.
