Collection for last weekend was: Regular: $30,676.00 On-line: $2,626.61

School collection: $7,976.00

Thank you for your generous support.

We thank you for your participation ongoing support in providing for the ongoing operating needs of our parish during the stay pandemic. We’re honored you would bless us with your generosity. Donations like yours make a big difference in the work our

church is doing in the community.

Our weekly operating budget is $28,000.00. But we can’t pull this off without your support. Whether you give to the church on a regular basis, or just attend on occasion, we’re asking you to please use the envelopes - they help you remember and keep us on

target or donate to the church electronically and help us save money on parish envelopes.

To continue to financially support our parish please visit our website, click our "Giving" tab, or use one of the drop boxes located in the church and at the front door of the parish office.

Thank you to the 692 families who have participated in the 2021 PSA.

So far we have $266,306.00 in pledges and $228,787.00 of that has been paid.

We were able to have new windows installed in the convent with the surplus

Money we have received so far.

For those of you who have not yet participated in the 2021 PSA there is still time. There are envelopes at the information center and at the church doors.

Notes to Parishioners

On behalf of the team who counts Collections for St. Columban Church, a blessed thank you for all who have contribut-ed to the support of our Parish each week, particularly in this season of pandemic and the upheaval it has caused to our lives. We are so grateful for your continued generosity and want you to know how you can help us make the accountability of funds easier

for our bookkeeper.

Our first suggestion is that when you write a check, please make it out clearly to St. Columban Church. Then place your Parish Directory System number on the memo line. If you cannot remember this PDS number, please call the front office and

they will look it up for you. Keep it in your checkbook for reference. If you use envelopes, look for this PDS number above your name.

Our second suggestion regards lose money placed in the baskets. If you choose to fold your bills, please only fold them once. This helps in the straightening process and the bank is happier with us.

We do take the time to list all donations from loose checks if we know your PDS number but, often these are not availa-ble to us if you are not registered in the parish. Our third suggestion, then, is to ask you to consider registering as soon as possible

to properly credit your donations.

Once again, thank you so much for your continued generosity. We are truly blessed each week with your gift of support.

A few years ago, half of our Thanksgiving Collection was designated for the St. Anthony Indian School on the Zuni Reservation in Zuni, NM where Sister Marsha Moon, RSC is the Principal. I received a Thank You note from several of the Junior High Stu-dents from the School. Each note was hand written and expresses that student’s thanks for the monies we sent. Sr. Marsha has

been using the donation specifically for the Science classes at the school and used the funds as needed just for Science equipment and lessons specific to the Science Curriculum. Enough was left over that this year a hands-on electronic circuitry

lesson was purchased, much to the delight of the Junior High Students. Your gift “just keeps on giving”, wrote Sr. Marsha in her note. Stop by the Information Center this weekend and read the notes of thanks from the Zuni Children of St. Anthony’s School.
