Aquatics Class DescriptionsLevel 1: Adult Beginner This class is for those 16+ years old who are new to swimming. Comfort in the water is the main focus along with safety for you and other swimmers.

Level 2: Adult Beginner This class if for those 16+ years old who are comfortable in both shallow & deep water. Basic strokes - front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, sidestroke, and breaststroke will be introduced.

Private and Semi-Private Swim Lessons Private and semi-private lessons are accommodating to the busy schedules of families. Both private and semi-private lessons can be purchased in packages of 5, 30 minutes lessons. We work with all abilities, concentrating on swimming basics for beginners and stroke development for more advanced swimmers. An information form must be completed at the Member Relations Desk in order to enroll. The Aquatics Director will contact those interested and scheduled based on instructor availability.

Health and Fitness Class DescriptionsExtreme Conditioning Are you ready to dig deep? Extreme fitness will push your limits with high-intensity plyometric, strength, cardiovascular, core and agility training. By using the muscle confusion techniques, this class constantly introduces new moves and routines so your body never plateaus and you never get bored! This class will be held outdoors, weather permitting.

Qigong Meditation Focus the mind with breathing techniques and gentle moving standing poses. Align the body, improve balance and coordination through the continuous flowing slow meditative motions.

Volleyball League The Sage YMCA is proud to announce the beginning of a co-ed adult volleyball league. Games will take place on Sunday afternoons with a single-elimination tournament on the last day of the session. You must register as a team with a captain, a minimum of six players and a maximum of 10. If you are an individual, you are welcome to be placed on a singles list. Teams must be co-ed and can consist of both Sage YMCA members and non-members.

Water Fitness Class DescriptionsAqua Kickbox Water Fitness This is a low impact, high intensity water fitness class.

Aquanatics Water Fitness This is a low impact, moderate intensity water fitness class. The entire class is conducted in shallow water. The class includes aerobic exercise, strength training, and balance.

Arthritis Water Fitness This class if for those with rheumatoid arthritis, osteo arthritis, or fibromyalgia. This is a no impact, low intensity recreational therapy class. Participants recovering from surgery or with MS may also benefit from this class.

H2O Flow Water Fitness This is a low impact, moderate intensity water fitness class. The class is set to music and covers aerobic, strength, and balance exercises. This class travels to the deep end of the pool; participants must be comfortable in deep water to attend.

Adult Sports DescriptionsAdult Dodgeball Individual Rewind back to middle school gym class with this adult, co-ed dodgeball league! Games will take place on Monday evenings with a tournament on the last day of the session. You must register as a team, with a captain, a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 10. If you are an individual, you are welcome to be placed on a singles list. Teams must be co-ed and can consist of both members and non-members. Bring on the fun, and let the games begin!

Adult Work Adult Sports Grab some friends or coworkers for some fun, competitive sports after work! A variety of sports will be played scrimmage-style, including flag football, ultimate frisbee and baggo. Get outside for some fun, sports and fitness with this adult, co-ed league.

Kyuki Do Martial Arts - Kyuki-Do is a Korean martial art that primarily incorporates elements of Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido and Judo. Students will learn self-defense, develop better hand-eye coordination and grow in self-discipline. Classes are open to children ages 6 and up and adults.
