Sven Jari Stehn Global Investment Research London ari is the firm’s chief European economist, responsible for the Goldman Sachs economic research product and forecasts across the region. Prior to assuming his current role, he led the firm's research on the global economy. Previously, Jari worked in the US Economics Group in New York for six years. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2010 and was named managing director in 2013. Earlier in his career, Jari worked as an economist at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC. Jari served as a member of the Council of Economic Advisors to the UK government from 2018 to 2019. Jari earned a first-class honors degree and an MPhil in Economics from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, and a PhD in Economics from Brasenose College, University of Oxford. J
