Masthead-this will be in a bold brightly coloured font which will

take up about one quarter of the page, and will be positioned atthe top of the page in the centre horizontally.

Main image-this will take up the majority of the page as it will bethe main artist that is featured in the magazine .

Plug- this will be a circle that is the same colour as the masthead, it

will be positioned on the right hand side, on the top half of thepage.Headline-this will be position on the top half of the page towardsthe left hand side and will be in a different colour to the masthead.

Strapline- this will be positioned towards the bottom right side ofthe page and will be the same colour as the headline.

Sell line- this will be positioned towards the bottom left hand side of

the page and would be the same colour as the plug and themasthead.

Barcode- this will positioned in the bottom left hand corner of thepage.

Content title- this will be positioned in the top left hand corner as the

audience would start to read from left to right, it will be follow thehouse style of the masthead.

Magazine logo/title- this will be placed in the top right had corner ofthe magazine to show continuity of the front cover.

Inset image- this will be the biggest feature on the contents page asit will be one of the main shown in the magazine.

Page numbers- these will be shown next to the name of each articleso the article is easy to locate, this will be within the vertical column.

Vertical column- this will be on the left hand side as it frames the mainimage and makes the page look more organised.

Institutional details- these will be placed in the bottom right handcorner as they are their to inform the reader of the issue date.

Headings- these will be placed within the vertical column to help theaudience find what they are looking for.

Pull-quote- this will be positioned on the right hand side of the bottomhalf of the magazine and would be the same colour as the heading.

Vertical columns- these are used over the whole double page to organise the articleeffectively so its easy for the audience to read.

Kicker- this summaries the article and will be towards the end of the double page spread onthe right hand side.

Web address- this will be place in the bottom right hand corner of the double page spread sothis will give the audience an alternative way to find out information about the magazine.

Pull-quote- this is positioned on the right hand side towards the bottom of the pageas this will allow the reader to remember the article.

Magazine logo/title- this will be placed in the top right hand corner as it shows continuityfrom the contents page and front page.
