Jack Daulton is a popular lecturer on the cultural history of non-Western civilizations and has been an expert on trips to more than 70 countries. His research has focused on the art and architecture of asia and africa as well as the study of Buddhism, Hinduism, and islam. Jack is also an attorney with a focus on international law relating to the preservation and conservation of the world’s cultural heritage. in a widely reported 1995 federal case, he recovered a 1,000-year-old sculpture that had been stolen from a temple in southeast asia.

James R. Karr specializes in tropical ecology, birds, conservation biology, and environmental policy, and has done extensive field work in Central and south america, africa, southeast asia, and new guinea. in the 1980s he developed a biologically-based way to evaluate the quality of water resources, called the index of Biotic integrity (iBi), which is a tool now used all over the world. Dr. Karr is the author of more than 300 scientific papers and monographs.

Parag Khanna is senior research Fellow and the Director of the global governance initiative of the american strategy Program at the new america Foundation, and the author of Second World: Empires and Influence in the New Global Order, which has been translated into over a dozen languages. Parag has traveled to more than 100 countries, is a member of the Council on Foreign relations and the explorers Club, and in 2009, was honored as a young global leader of the World economic Forum.
