TOWNHALL MEETING CONCLUSION: MARCH 17, 2013

In the next TWO years, this shall be our theme:

OUTCOME

What kind of church will Hope EFC be?

THE CHURCH EXISTS TO

GLORIFY GOD AND TO

ENJOY HIM FOREVER

WHY WE ARE HERE

What it means personally and corporately is….

“Our first love and true

joy is found in a passion

for God’s glory”

Our MISSION is to nurture a church whose members

are able to live out this truth authentically and consistently

In order to fulfil this MISSION, we shall ensure that the church and all

its activities are centered on the one thing that matters: the GOSPEL

The THREE ways the Gospel-at-the-centre is

expressed are…

DOCTRINAL

Jesus died and rose

again for our salvation

PERSONAL

God’s grace changes

hearts and motives

SOCIAL

Gospel impacts

society with

new order

…which is already spelled out in our Vision Statement,

ie:

DISCIPLE THE BODY

SERVE THE COMMUNITY

What are we going

to do about it?

In other words, what priorities

should we pursue to fulfil our vision?
