A built-in picture frame allows for personalization of these unique urns. The urn is designed for biodegradable ground burial, where once buried it will biodegrade naturally over time.

The Journey Earthurn is perfect for ocean or deep water burial. These biodegradable urns are engineered to float momentarily and then gracefully sink. Once on the ocean floor, the urn will break down naturally over time. Includes a water-soluble plastic bag which dissolves on contact with water, allowing the cremated remains to be dispersed within minutes .

When placed in water, the Sand Urn are designed and engineered to float briefly before sinking. The time each urn takes to sink will vary depending on the weight of the cremated remains and local water conditions. Once placed in water the urn will break down within three days. When buried the urns will biodegrade in three months. Each urn is shipped in a box with custom protective packaging that provides families with a convenient and discreet option for transportation. The box (and urn) will pass through airport security screenings and can fit in the overhead compartment of most commercial airliners.

The Passages® Collection of Cornstarch EcoUrns are made from durable and environmentally-friendly cornstarch. They feature a secure “snap lock” closing mechanism that permanently closes the urn. The EcoUrns can be kept at home, or placed in a cemetery niche or columbarium, since they will not biodegrade or deteriorate unless buried.
