    Youth Group

    Teen Choir ...Looking for a quick snack on Sunday morning? Our teens host ourHoly Grub station where you can purchase donuts as well as some healthy farefor a minimal cost! The money earned goes toward our Teen Choir Trip.

    It's almost promotion Sunday! August 12th is the day allchildren move to their new classes! The teachers are excitedto get to know your kids and begin a new year!

    Nursery: 0 - 18 monthsToddlers: 18 months - 3 yearsPreK (3s and 4s class): children musthave turned 3 by 9/1/2012, potty trainedand can separate from parents easily. Ifyour child is 3 by the date but has notreached the other milestones, he/she mayjoin their new class once they do.5K: 5 by 9/1/2012 and/or kindergartenElementary kids move to the grade they are going into.

    8:30 a.m. - 1st-5th graders attend choir9:45 a.m. - graded classes for 1st-5th graders. Every 1st Sunday of themonth we meet as a group for worship and lesson time.11:00 a.m. - 1st-5th graders attend a group class.

    Kids Choir Christmas Musical Practice begins August 12th!

    Each year our childrens ministry & music department put on a

    delightful musical on the first Sunday in December! This years

    production is For the Glory of the King! The stage is set in red and

    green, the Kids Christmas Choir is waiting in the wings, the script is

    written, and the narrators for this year's Christmas concert are all set

    and ready to go well, all but one. All 1st -5th grade kids come joinus at 8:30 in Room 10 to begin an awesome year!

    Refresh yourself in our fall SpringsProgram which begins August 19th!

    Our kickoff begins with dinner at 6:00and a movie at 7:00 that will be familyfriendly. Bring a blanket and/or chairsand enjoy this time together!

    The Springs classes will begin August 26thwith two adult classes to choose fromincluding positive parenting, Health & Finances along with a

    biblical studies class taught by Frank Shirvinski. There will bekids and youth classes, too. The Springs will be held everyother Sunday night through the fall. Watch for specifics in theAugust Newsletter.

    Communion/Lords Supper

    All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion.

    If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you

    are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as

    they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while

    it is in front of them before passing it along.

    OfferingIn our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an

    act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time

    specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving

    as you are led.

    Nursery

    We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the

    north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
