More Phillip Emeagwalis are locked in the dungeons of the geographical expression called Nigeria by its brutes masqurading as democrats and leaders. Sad enough, these "leaders" do not subscribe to the survival of Biafra. Date: 7/1/2009, 7:20 am,

n: Number: 300 Prof. You are truly amazing, but most importantly you are a pan African. I was however intrigued and somewhat disappointed by the failure of our government to buy a supercomputer costing $120m for your research work back home. While I concede that there are no barriers to Technology, but it is like you rightly pointed out in one of your articles those who export it are the rich nations of the world. What will it take for you to come back and put your knowledge and skills for the advancement of the black man here in Africa?

It is very interesting to read about the experiences of a country boy from Nigeria making his way to college in the U.S. – quite an unprecedented ordeal it seems. I am glad to read of your
successful adjustments, especially during such a difficult decade as the 1970s.I too was in school in Oregon in the 1970s, which is what led me to that section on this site. Date: 11/12/2008, 7:44 am,

Davis pen Euroclydon on 11/11/2008 from: http://www.emeagwali.com/interviews/capstone...Annotation:Mr. Emeagwali has examined the phenomena of two styles of study-ers, how they study and the features of those modes of study and transfered that knowledge to how he should study a phenom found in his laboratory of the mind...otherwise a battlefield without the tools he found in observing these two styles. Susan the interviewer asks Mr. Phillip: How did you get
your idea for the invention? In reading one finds comments on the two styles:Convergent & divergent thinking. In reading the article found at the referenced site one may identify the phenom found as: methods and procedures. Because the industry could not believe and or understand what Mr. Phillip was 'saying' their find in Emeagwali resulted in the creation of a new phenom on the horizon of computer technology "SCALABILITY". You seems to have an unforgiven memory of the civil war. Please neither the late sage Awo, his yoruba tribe or the Hausas that you errorously try to portray as those who plotted evil against
igbos are guilty of the crimes you are trying to ascribe to them on your site. The Nigerian Civil war was an unneccessary ill, everyone suffered the consequences of that war. Location: NigeriaNumber: 273 I write in response to the irresponsible insinuations of someone who calls himself Abbey Ige who wrote in from
Nevada. Mr Ige claims to have an objective assessment of what he considers to be the unfair treatment the Late Gen Philip Effiong received from the Igbos. This according to him, started from Prof Emeagwali's website which the Igbos ('of all people') are using as a platform for 'insulting Gen Efiong who saved them'. One thing is immediately evident in that write up: Mr Ige was born an Igbophobist. He has an axe to grind with Igbos and he alone can explain what the matter is. But I have one message for Mr Ige (if his burning hatred will let him listen). The Igbos were created by God just like all other tribal groups in Nigeria. It is God's intention that the Igbo race will remain. No amount of hatred by the
likes of Ige will exterminate the Igbos. Mr Ige must learn to accept that the Igbos are a part of Nigeria. If Nigeria was made bad by Mr A or Chief B or General C, it is not because he/she is Igbo or Yoruba or Hausa or Ijaw etc. Decent people do not hold tribes responsible for actions carried out by persons. I'm sure this is too high an ideal for the likes of Mr Ige but the truth must be told. Dr Chris Ngige whom Mr Ige maligned is one of the best governors that Nigeria ever had and Anambra State indigenes have never failed to acknowledge that fact. I hope and pray that the real problem is not that Abbey Ige is jealous of Prof Emeagwali's achievements. If that is his aggro, then I am very sorry for him. Meanwhile, Prof fire
on. The Good Lord is on your side. He has chosen you for countless graces and no one can change it, no matter his tribe or inclinations. Jisike! Date: 8/11/2008, 9:42 pm,

Location: Lagos - NigeriaNumber: 245 Dear Sir, It is my pleasure to mail you but I wish to crave your indulgence for contact you at this point in time, I must say that I am proud of you despite I haven’t seen you in person, you obviously proved a good Igbo man, a good Nigerian, a good African citizen. with
heart of love I kudos all your effort to us in general. May the Lord God Almighty bestowed upon you His divine Wisdom in addition to the uncommon ideas in you. Because I have been challenged by your Article with Celtel magazine Quarter 1, 2007. Right in there you make me proud and to think more valiantly on how I can consume more ideas and information as much as possible. Please I need a personal word of encouragement from you, for one reason. I have read much about you but then I need just a word from you. I wish to acknowledge your reply, Thanks and God bless you forever. OSCAR. Date: 9/30/2007, 8:27 am,

Ige <68.227.198.73>Location: NevadaNumber: 244 There is no doubt that you are a genius and deserve every commendation. However, I think it is a shame that your section on Biafra provides a channel through which Igbos of all people insult and malign the late General Philip Effiong. No matter what people say about free speech, we have those that are sacred in our culture and who should never be publicly set up for insults, especially from worthless ingrates who have never done anything for Nigeria. Igbo
people have moral grounds to reject Dr Azikiwe for abandoning them towards the end of Biafra, and to also reject Ikemba Ojukwu who fled Biafra when they most needed him. They also have good reasons to ostracize the likes of former Governor Ngige and Chris Uba who have brought shame on them. And yet, your website would never provide the opportunity for these people to be attacked. But you allow your site to be a tool through which General Philip Effiong, your savior, is discredited. This is most shameful and a sign of ingratitude, all because this noble man is not an Igbo man. In fact, this man’s courage is acknowledged outside eastern Nigeria and even globally. Just review the international
response to his death. As a Yoruba man, I think I am in a position to be objective about this. You, as well as the Igbos who have insulted General Effiong through your website, are where you are because of this great hero, and not because of your abandonment by the great Zik or Ikemba, and certainly not because of the Ngiges and Chris Ubas who are currently bringing disgrace upon you. I think you should reconsider allowing your site to be used as a forum for insulting the one man to whom all Igbos should be eternally grateful. Date: 1/14/2008, 7:13 pm,

I've always tried to convey to others, especially African Americans I encounter, the potential that we all possess and dreams we can bring into fruition through faith in our abilities; the determination in our hearts and persevering toward that worthwhile dream. Atleast we can show the world that goodthings can come out of Nigeria, and there are more that are yet budding so they should just be on the look out for more of your likes in nigeria... Sir, i believe that all you need to do to us the younger generation is to
constantly give useful advices and lead rightly and then we'll follow diligently and explore other areas that are yet untapped then, we see who will set limits for us.... Kudos to you sir, and keep up the good work. Date: 10/29/2006, 3:22 am,

jump higher but can not write better. Your story loudly emphasizes the ingenuity of the black man despite the mis-education of the negros. Your story also brings to mind the scientific and technological achievements of Biafrans during the Nigerian civil war. Your thunderous but yet unheared inventions breaks the jinx of black man's inferiority. You are a great gift not only to the Ibos in particular but to Nigeria and Africa in general. Yours have shaded light to the darkest part of every black man. Thanks for your courage. May God be with us.

Location: Atlanta,GANumber: 90 You are an inspiration not only in the field of science, but also in the way you have made a connection between our history as Africans (black people) and how it has affected us today and will affect the future. People need to understand how much blacks have done. The sad thing here is that we keep
waiting for other races to publish and spead info on how great blacks are. How can we expect them to do so? We are the ones that have to do this. Why can't we handle our own business? Forget them giving us credit, we should give ourselves credit. We are humans just like everyone else on this planet. Who or what are we waiting for? If the young kids do not know who or what is what, then the enlightened adults need to take it upon themselves to shed light on the facts. If there are not enough computers in Africa to get this info out, then do it the old fashioned way with handed-out print info. Full color post cards/flyers can be shipped and handed out in schools stating the facts in ways that
these kids will connect with. Items like this do not cost that much these days. If the governments will not do this, then the private sector should. Let us start a movement today ....Propaganda to empower and boost the self esteems of our youth. All Africans are great, we really are. Most of all we do not need any approval from other races. Let us love ouselves first. Date: 10/2/2006, 11:22 am,

I hereby vote you in my world as My Great Hero, My Great Role Model, and My Archetype of Excellence. I admire your spirit of enterprise and of endeavour. You have shed lustre on Biafran - our country and our race. You have proved by example that tenacity of purpose is the key to unlock the barred gates of mystery and of fate. You have taught me by your efforts that the word "impossiblity" must
be erased from my mind, and that with requisite determination, assiduity, self confidence and industry, the dizzy heights of academic fame can no longer be reserved for a given few. On your Speeches especially the one Titled: " How Do We Reverse the Brain drain?" and "Black History:Lost, Stolen or Strayed" if i did not learn any thing, I learnt to intensify in my struggle to receive a better education, and it also dawn on me that Education is the sore need of our country(Nigeria) and the education that she is needs is in my own words, "not Europeanising, but rather Euro- Africianising the Africans" And this is my aim in whatever activity i enagage
myself.

I have finished my Masters and starting a PhD. Like you, I had to leave Nigeria, specifically U.N.N. due to strike and as a result, will finish my PhD in my early thirties rather than earlier. However, like I had posted a while back, every time I have hit a wall, I come back here to get inspiration to continue. Your words about geniuses is
one that I definitely agree with and have observed. This has given me an optimistic outlook in that nothing fashioned by other human beings is impossible to learn. I have also learned that only true geniuses can really make anyone understand esoteric knowledge in basic terms as you have shown. I still mourn the true and just Biafrans that died for the struggle and those that are still suffering in Nigeria. I am trying to start a small unit of Nigerian experts that will help train the eager and bright young minds in Nigeria. After several years of information gathering, I believe that the best way to save the country and the continent is through immediate application of technical knowledge backed
by a sound theory that produces visual results. I was wondering if you have ever initiated any such exercise and if so, what practical advice you can offer. Dalu. Chukwu gozie gi na ndi be unu nile. Date: 9/5/2006, 9:25 pm,

Location: Houston, TexasNumber: 66 Dear Sir,Your site has become a bible of some sort to some of us. It inspires us in our quest to re-discover old truths. One of which is the truth about the place of the Blackman in science & technology. And as an Igbo man, the history and & the journey so far for us as Igbos. Sir, I was honored to receive a phone call from you in 2005, & the only exhilarating experience I can compare the encounter of that day to, is the way I felt in Jan 2001
when I was granted a students visa to the United States.Knowing fully well that the nature of your work and the towering responsibilities only allows you enough time to return only 2 to 3 calls per week, and these calls are chosen randomly. Sir, it’s an honor to be associated to you, either remotely or anyhow.I feel Inspired, Informed & Involved with your works and the light that you and other great African over-achievers have lit in our hearts & minds.Shine on sir, shine on and make the mountains a plain for us the up and coming. Shine on, sir, and make the valleys a level ground for those yet un-born. Shine on
Sir, and give a human face to the Blackman, a face filled with the light & the force of knowledge and wisdom. Such that whenever these people of a different skin color, that believe that nothing good can come out of Black-Africa, as they stare into your face, the rays of light & the heat of knowledge coming from you, will melt away their doubtful minds.Shine on sir, and let the heat from your mind heat up our on minds as well, that we being activated by this light will jointly cause a glorious light to reside in Black Africa.I look forward with bubbling interest, to yet another direct encounter with you.I remain respectfully yoursIke Chidolue

n: Number: 35 I am a law student at the Howard University School of Law. I along with a couple of my friends are putting together a nonprofit event in the NY/NJ area during the weekend of June 30-July 2nd, called the Metro College Reunion. I would like to invite you and everyone to this event as a guest, and if possible as one of the individuals to sit in on our panel.
This event is not like your regular reunion. There are two underlying purposes; (1) to create a venue where people will meet with other young
professionals to network, and (2) to create a venue where people who attended school in Nigeria will meet up with fellow alums with the sole purpose of exploring ways to help the education system in Nigeria. Which school you donate to, what to do with the money and how to organize for the donations is entirely up to the attendees.
Our role in this is merely to provide a venue to make it happen. We have put together quite a most enjoyable and entertaining weekend because we believe that we might as well get started on being "the leaders of tomorrow". I hope you can attend this event because at the forefront of creating a better and
progressive Nigeria, we need people of Nigerian ancestry such as yourself who are making a difference today. If you are interested in attending this event or in helping us with the forum, please feel free to e-mail us at [email protected] or visit our site at http://gsso.net/reunion2006..
For more information on this event and the many activities which include a forum/panel discussion on "Networking strategies; What works and What doesn't", picnic and a cruise; please go to http://gsso.net/reunion2006.
Thank you for your time!!!

Location: Tucson arizonaNumber: 26 I have learned a great deal in this website. Your honesty, hard work, and discipline has earned you a million dollar ticket, fame, and most importantly you have contributed or invented a mathematics formula that has revolutionalized the computer
industry and other field. It is something that will be known in a life time. Great work, you have proved wrong the ignorant, racist white supremacy in the west. I was so socked to know that Euclid the great mathematician was a black African. This white supremacy has created a dysfunctional historical scholarship. Writing books for the past five hundred years glorifying themselves at the expense of others especially black Africans. I am a Kenyan 100% African. I would prefer that African people to start teaching African children African history especially about the great kemetic people and possibly refer to themselves as the children of the great kemetic people because we are truly the
kemetic people. I believe that we are the descendant of the great kemetic people. I would truely like you to take your expertise and leapfrog Africa to the modern age. My dream is to see Africa as a united states of Africa. It’s so sad that we are not controlling our own resources. Our continent is the wealthiest in natural resources yet we are the poorest. Truely you have done an amazing job and am hoping you have many more inventions in the future good luck to you and your family, by the way I hope Denzel Washington will make a movie about you thanks a lot bye. Your speech was very moving and i think one way to encourage this younsters is to create scholarship opportuinities and offer them jobs back home like you mentioned. There are thousands of great minds out there who don't even have the chance to get into schools in Nigeria because of the fierce competition. It is no longer a case of who is intelligent like it was in my father's days but it is now who you know and how much money you have, this very sad.
