Past and Present:

2:30 p.m. Monday, August 4th Southwest3. GVSU is my second home base. My boyfriend graduated from GVSU. It is still has beautiful landscaping and has many cornfields from when my boyfriend attended GV. (Absolute Location; Human Environment Interaction).

One-Stop Shopping:

11:45 a.m. Saturday, July 19th East4. Meijer’s is mine and my parents one stop shopping for groceries and household items. My parents shop at one in Indiana, and I shop at the one in Grand Rapids off of Wilson Ave. (Absolute Location; Movement of Goods)

Family Vacation-Frankenmuth, Michigan:

3:00 p.m. Friday, June 13th North5. Frankenmuth is a German town. My family and I are German and always go to Frankenmuth every year. We have been to Frankenmuth ever since my brother and I have been a baby. It is a family tradition that we visit every year. Bronners is the world’s largest Christmas Store that we visit while in Frankenmuth. Bronners is full of Christmas decorations. Bronners can ship out ornaments to customers who place an order online. Bronners is one of my favorite places to visit while in Frankenmuth. (Human Characteristics of a place, Movement of goods)

12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20th South6. Frankenmuth is also known for their Oktober Festivals. During the Oktober Festivals, people dance to Bavarian music, walk or participate in the parade, and listen to German bands. (Movement of Ideas; place; Human/Cultural characteristics of a place)

Museums:

11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20th North7. The Art Institute in Chicago is a museum that I like to visit to see all the different artwork. Located in Chicago, Illinois. (Relative Location; Movement of Ideas; Place; Human Characteristics)

Closer to home:

2:45 p.m. Friday, May 5th South8. In the city of St. Joseph, Michigan is Silver beach. A favorite destination for families, friends, and even pets to hangout on the beach or on the boat on a hot summer day. 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 1st Northwest9. Lunkers is in my hometown. Lunker is a shop where you can buy your goods and needs for hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating and of course clothing. Lunkers also have a restaurant. Lunker is located on U.S. 12. It has been a main point in Edwardsburg. (Relative Location; place; Movement of goods and services)

Closer to home continued:

9:45 A.M. Wednesday, May 20th Northwest10. University Park Mall is where I my friends and I go to shop to get our clothes, shoes, makeup, or hair accessories. Many families shop here to get their clothes, shoes, makeup, etc. People also buy online and have their items shipped to them.
