STUDY IN SWEDENThe students that join FPP webinars

conversion rate”.

DURING THE WEBINAROn the day of the event, the presenters connected from
Sweden and began a live 30-minute presentation. Useful and
interactive information about applying and studying at
universities in Sweden was provided. After the presentation,
students engaged with presenters in a Q&A session.
A helpful addition to this webinar was a student from the
Dominican Republic, who had studied in Sweden. She
delivered her own presentation, speaking in Spanish, about
her experiences at a Swedish university. This resonated very
well with students.
Due to the sheer volume of students attending and the
number of questions flooding in, Q&A was extended until all
questions had been addressed by presenters.
Presenters answered questions in both English and Spanish,
depending upon whether the Study in Sweden staff member
(in English) or the former student (in Spanish) fielded the
question. A bilingual Q&A created a positive dynamic and
kept students engaged and on their toes.
Huh!! 940,000 Latin American students?! That can’t be right. It is. FPP holds over 50 Student Fairs in Latin
America annually (including those for the Canadian,
Australian and New Zealand Governments), attended
by over 130,000 students. Since all attending students
must register online in advance, our student database
invited to participate in the Webinars is immense,
unmatched and focused on studying-abroad.

AFTER THE WEBINARAll attending students became a ‘lead’ for Study in Sweden. This means
the profiles and contact details of all students were visible in their FPP
Client Area. The students could be contacted through FPP’s platform
directly, or downloaded by Study in Sweden and imported into their own
CRM or preferred messaging system. These students remain in their Client
Area indefinitely.
The webinar was recorded and posted the following day in the Webinar
section of EduFindMe.com where it will remain, to be searched for and
viewed by students at any time. We contacted students that registered
but did not attend the webinar, inviting them to watch the recording. This
generated many more ‘leads’ in a short period of time.
Attending students are kept in your FPP
Client Area to be messaged directly, and/or
downloaded and imported into your own
CRM.
Students that watch the recording at any
time in the future are added to your Client
Area, with an emailed notification sent to
you, enabling quick follow-up of interested
and engaged students.

We have been using FPP’s
webinars to inform students what
it is like to study in Sweden. The
collaboration with the FPP team
is great and they ensure that we
always have a high number of
sign-ups for our webinars.
Moreover, the students that
joined our webinars are quality
students, ensuring a high
conversion rate. This means,
many of the students that joined
one of our FPP webinars also
ended up being admitted to
study in Sweden.”
